All i can say is WOW, WOW, WOW. I am so glad I purchased this book. There is so much information about Gardening I did not know. I just like growing my own vegetables. I learn as I make mistakes, not knowing there were people like Darina Allen who has already figured things out for me. The Bonus was the Recipes. I am from the United States, Florida to be exact. I love to cook and trying new recipes. The information on the different Vitamins and what they do for the body.DARINA ALLEN was full of information. We all need to learn how to grow our own food and teach our young ones. This information should be passed down through the many Generations to come.Darina Allen make want to go off the grid with the information provided in this book. If i could give this book 50 stars I would this is just the beginning.CONGRATULATIONS Darina Allen, well done. Looking forward to reading more books by you

Well thought out and put together. Extremely thorough information, given to the novice gardener or someone who is well versed in gardening or cooking for that matter. Very informative, introduction as well. Would recommend this, wonderful garden/cookbook!

This book has every vegetable you can think of with how to plant, where it grows, when to harvest, and at least 5 recipes for it. I got lost for hours in this delicious delicacy.

My only Darina Allen cookery book. Written likes Darina talks, so entertaining to read.With 500 recipes I honestly haven't been able to decide where to start, so have not yet cooked anything. Hence the 4 star review.Interesting facts regarding growing the veg and I've been inspired to prep my garden to start growing some veg.

Lovely big book covering everything you might want to grow and more, and what to do with it to make recipes or to preserve.Very pleased as growing loads more than usual during lockdown.

What an eye opener, instead of just recipes it shows you how to grow your own veg and so many handy hints. My 3rd Darina Allen cookbook, albeit this one is on my kindle.
