Bellroy Pixel 2 Case with Card Holder (Leather Google Pixel Wallet, Holds 3 Cards, Super Slim Profile) - Caramel

**One month update**The sides are looking decidedly scuffed, and all I ever do is take it in and out of my pocket. Does not age and look nicer like other leather cases I've had. Also if you're fidgety like me, and like to play with the card door flap, the edge of that completely peeled off. Doesn't alter the functionality and is hard to see without looking for it, but I think the build quality could be much higher for such an expensive case.No other issues so far. Phone is protected, it's not feeling loose, holds my three cards securely.**It's a pretty nice case, but a bit thick for my liking. The thickness goes all the way up to the top with just a slight taper, makes it feel a bit bulky but not as bad as I'd expected, actually. Probably worth it to have your cards completely hidden.The leather has a nice soft texture, but it does not add a ton of grip to the phone if that's what you're looking for. The case seems like it would protect the phone well from drops. Pretty small front lip, will keep your screen up off the table if you lay it down but not likely to save your screen if you don't drop it on something flat.Does hold three regular cards fairly nicely, I have one thicker card that makes it a tight fit though - difficult to get cards out with that one in. An ID and two credit cards is easy if that's all you need! The magnetic card door seems sturdy, not worried about losing cards. Does work as a stand as advertised!Cutouts are all positioned well, so the buttons and ports are easy to use and the camera is protected. It is very deep towards the bottom of the finger print scanner cutout however. If you have long fingernails or like to use the swipe function it does make that a little difficult. I actually had to add another fingerprint because my nails are long.and you can't contact the sensor the same way. The active edge DOES work with this case, even on the soft settings.

I am probably going to replace it soon, but I have been using this case for at least a year and it's great. I hate carrying purses, so this pretty much solves that. I wish there were room for more than 3 cards (I really need to carry 4) but I make it work. I've dropped it a few times and it only peels a little. The color has darkened over time but it does the job!

I love the compactness of the case. The feel is a little to smooth. The leather feels a little awkward. I was most excited for the case because it boasted a 3 card compartment. I need License, debit, and transit card on me. Unfortunately the compartment flap ripped pretty much right away. Still works but the quality is just not there. In a world where most production quality is sub par it's merely another livable disappointment.

Card holder is difficult to use with 3 cards. If you only have 2 in there it's much easier

The buttons on the side are impossible to use with this case.

This case is super functional and compact. Fits three: Drivers License, Debit card; Credit card i.e enough most of the time for me. Mine got damaged pretty badly and they replaced it for free via Amazon customer service over an email. Super impressed! The expense is worth it if they try to maintain product satisfaction.

Beware, I don't know if others had a similar issue. Regardless, I have a refurbished pixel 2, when using the phone heavily then switching to the camera, it became incredibly hot in the upper corner. Never had this problem before and just started using the case. I immediately turned it off and removed the case.After it cooled down, I started the phone. Everything seems okay thankfully. I went back to using the old case. I'll be returning case in question of course. Paying 60 dollars to have maybe damage my phone, not a great thing!
