My comute route to work and back is full of crap and brocken glass, leading to punctures in my tyres once the week. I dont have any issues since I have attached this protectors. I am quite happy with the product saving a lott of stress that I had before.

It was easy to apply, I did it rather on the tyre than the inner tube, seems more robust for me, also easier to assemble.I can see however if you want to change your tyre it will be a problem, but I guess if your valve is broken on your tube, you face the same problem!It was a tad bit narrow for a slick-semislick 28" city bike though, I think it could use 2-3 mm on each side!Cant say anything on durability, we've made only one trip since I applied.

A game changer. The streets of cycle down are the streets of Manchester and let us say there is a lot of chaff on those streets and the number of punctures I would experience runs into the ludicrous. However, since I applied this product I have suffered not a single hiccup. Is a little tricky to apply but is absolutely worth the effort. You get a lot of tape for your money. Has lasted a long time. I'm not seeing any degradation of performance after months of use. Excellent puncture resistance. Wish I'd bothered sooner.

It was really easy to install - I just peeled off the liner tape and stuck it to the inside of the tube. The self-adhesive design means it didn't slip during installation and stayed in place throughout use. The whole process took about 10 minutes per wheel. I live in an area with lots of thorns and glass, which meant I was constantly having problems with punctures. After installing these liners, I haven't had a single puncture in two months! The 1mm thick polyurethane material protects the tube really well from punctures. It's especially good for tyre sizes from 1.5-2.2 inches and is compatible with a variety of wheels including 20, 24, 26, 27.5, 28 inches and 700Cx32-40mm, which is a big plus. You can cut them to fit your bike.

Absolutely rubbish as they dont stick to the inside of the tire as I wanted so had to purchase double sided sticky tape to do the job.I managed to get them fitted so time will tell if they are puncture resistant or not.

I got these as a precautionary purchase - I don't fancy pushing a 28kg electric bike back home if it gets a puncture! The protective strip sticks to the inner tube (which must be butyl rubber) rather than in the hollow of the tyre which is what I'd expected. After sticking on the tape (to a part inflated inner tube) the wheel is reassembled and brought back up to full pressure so that the protective tape is held against the tyre inner surface above the tube.I did take them to the bike shop and asked for them to be installed during an annual bike service but the technician reported back that they were not very 'sticky' and were difficult to get into the tyre (the sections done earlier would be coming away as you moved around the tube.) He also noted that this particular set were a bit thin for the wheel even though the specifications were taken off the tyre wall.If they work for you, there are two rolls of the tape that can withstand possible puncture causes like glass, tacks and nails if the box claims are to be believed. Certainly better than getting a puncture in the middle of nowhere.

A little tricky to apply to be fair as tubes don't really behave themselves that well when under inflated. I also find it a little odd that they're supposed to be attached to the tube rather than the tyre but there you go. Definitely provide a good level of protection from thorns etc. but obviously add some weight to the wheels too. Obviously don't provide much sidewall protection etc. so I'll still be carrying a spare tube with me when I ride.

I live in an area with a lot of blackthorn hedges, so punctures are a frequent, inconvenient and annoying fact of life.Since I fitted this tape I have not had a puncture though - I am super pleased.
