Hastily Added Labels
The media could not be loaded. Review Of: Penrhos Gin Gift Pack 4 x 5clYou get one dry gin and 3 different fruity gins. The fruity gins all taste different but none are massively overwhelming in taste. I think I preferred the Apple & Elderflower the most. This would make a nice gift, but the manufacturers have haphazardly put the labels on the bottles and it makes it look like factory seconds. When I received this set, one of the labels was coming off and another was wonky. Considering the price, they need to address this issue.

Assorted gin pack.
Presented here is a lovely selection of four different gins. Not being a massive gin drinker, I can't really say I am able to pick up on the different notes each time and the same was the case here again.I can say that probably the rhubarb and the raspberry ones were just a tad bit sweeter and that I think I picked up on the elderflower a bit, but the flavors are not particularly strong, with the gin taste being the main player as it was to be expected. The drink is overall pleasant and smooth making it easily enjoyable.I love the story behind the drinks as well, and in this case, the drinks are nicely presented and the set can easily be given as a gift.

Love these
Super cool containers which add a premium feel, and 4 lovely flavours to try. I am never quite sure of the point of some of these sets, but this is a great introduction to the brand, and would also make a great gift set. Based on the double measures, and the quality of the presentation, I think these are great value. The gin itself is certainly a high quality product, and all of it was delicious. Nice to support a UK owned family business too, and despite being very cynical about these things, I thought their eco credentials did hold water, so another reason to spend money here. Recommended!

Tasty gin, poor presentation.
Penrhos market this product in the following manner:"The set is perfect for sampling our flavours, and makes a wonderful gift for any gin lover"I would concur, in theory. Unfortunately, mine arrived looking utterly tatty, with no care paid to its presentation. The bottles were upside down within the packaging, one of the labels was peeling off and the inside cardboard tray was ripped. I don't know if it came from the manufacturer like this, or if it was damaged and repackaged badly in the warehouse. Either way, I would be disappointed if I'd bought this as a gift for someone, particularly considering the high price. After checking all the seals on the bottles to ensure that they hadn't been opened or tampered with (they hadn't), I commenced with the all important testing. Thoroughly testing each one, back to back, with the addition of a little Fever-Tree Tonic, I can confirm the gins are delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Apple & Elderflower, which certainly is not subtle or shy about its fruity inclusions. It's a real shame that I am forced to give this three-stars, but as a gift the presentation of what I received is simply not acceptable, and had the contents not been as good as they are, I would have docked another star, maybe even two.As a "taster set", this does demand a price premium, but even if the set had arrived in pristine condition, I don't think that £18 for 200ml of gin is really all that compelling.. That's the equivalent of paying £63 for a standard 700ml bottle! Penrhos sell their 700ml bottles for £30, so if you are interested in them, then I would highly recommend skipping this sampler set, and just buying one of their big bottles, specifically the Apple & Elderflower, it's delicious!

Delicious gin
I'm very impressed with this gin. It's very tasty, with the usual gin tang, but in a somewhat subtle way so as not to overpower the other flavouring. The three flavours are really tasty, especially the 'wonky raspberry'. The bottle of unflavoured dry gin complements any mixer well.I like this company's focus on sustainability, and the aluminium bottles are a really nice touch. Weirdly, though, all four bottles seem to be exactly the same, except for a sticker that has been hastily stuck over the top of three of them to indicate the flavour. These stickers had all started to peel off at either side, and it gave a slightly cheap feel to an otherwise premium product.

Beautiful present
Got this for my mum as a birthday gift, she loves the flavour of the rhubarb so much she bought more of it. Pretty good endorsement!
