Swim safety at it's finest
One thing for sure is that this little flotation device delivers a sense of safety that can give you peace of mind. Currently, I have two of my daughters living at home. My youngest is improving her swimming skills, but still needs a little reassurance that she will be OKAY when we go out on the boat, or paddle boarding this summer. I did some research and came across this unique and genius flotation device that uses a gas inflator that pushes into the "air bag" that will shoot a person up to 243 lbs upwards to the surface. This was designed for either a child or Adult fitting. Below, I will outline the other features I considered that led me to choose this one over similar products on the market.*Design: Auto-inflator when it's detected at 7.87' and 10 seconds under water- 6 hours work time on full charge - Anti-drowning system*Functionality: the ONLY qualm I have about this is the fact the gas inflator is a ONE time use only. If you look at this store you will see that you can replace these gas inflators- however, they are pretty expensive. The cost of one gas inflator is $59 or you can purchase 2 or $109*Stainless steel*Algorithm chip will activate the demand to open gas cylinder*One click start*Protects what: head/face/chest and neck*Of note- you CANNOT reuse the gas inflators. All in all, I find this to be a great additional resource to ensure my kiddos are safe at all times on the water. The material is very durable and not cheap. We did try this out at my in-laws, and it is very simple to use. However, now we must order a couple of the gas inflators to have on hand. Based on the concept, I wouldn't think this would be an every day use. Way too expensive for that- yet, for the beginner swimmers this is definitely a must have. But let me say, despite the cost. your loved ones life is way more important. With that, I have no qualms about ordering more of these for certain "times" we are on the water. The quality is there and I had no technical or mechanical failures using this system. Therefore, based on my positive experience with this and did a great job inflating- I would recommend this for other consumers. Thanks for reading my review. I hope it was informative and helpful. :)

Great Invention but…
I have to say that this swimming airbag by S-AIRBAG is a great invention that can certainly help to saving lives. I like that this can fit some children or be adjusted to fit adults up to 243 pounds. The harness and airbags are reusable, you just need to remove the air and fold the airbags up so that they go back into the compartments on each shoulder strap. This can be recharged using a magnetic cable, and one charge lasts about 5-6 hours.Where this starts to fall short for me is the gas cylinders that are responsible for inflation, they are only one time use and they are NOT cheap to replace, costing $109 for two or $59 for one. That makes this an expensive device to use, and it means that it’s not something you would swim in or use in the water at all, as that highly increases the chance that the device will be triggered as it deploys when about 8 inches deep. If someone cannot swim and they want to wear this for safety, then it would probably be great. However, for a child or adult who wants to swim and have this as a backup in case of trouble, it isn’t practical. Perhaps a version that required one to manual deploy the gas would be a good option.Overall, I think it is a great device for someone who cannot swim. However, for anyone who wants it as a backup it would be nice to see one with a manual deployment option versus an automatic one. Also, refillable gas cylinders would be a big plus.

Closest to wearing nothing while remaining fully protected while near the water!
This is a highly advanced swimming device that offers plenty in technology that my wife, who is not a very good swimmer, allows her to feel confident with getting near the water while wearing...We paddle board often, and although she hasn't fallen in the water, she likes this device better than the others. It has a small imprint while wearing that allows her small frame full mobility to paddle, standup, and rotate while on the board. It's not a cheap product, and honestly it's difficult to justify the cost, along with purchase of a one and done refill cartridge, which does require a stainless steel cartridge to ensure it will not deteriorate due to water exposure. But if you're able to look past the cost of $149 at the time of writing this review, it's possibly the closest device that will provide drown protection you can wear that doesn't continuously remain you, it's strapped to your body!
