Q: My sealer doz not lock, i have to hold it down in order to seal it

At first I thought mine didn't lock as well. With some trepidation I pushed down really hard on both front corners and both sides clicked. I was very surprised at how much force it took. Once I figured that out it has worked perfectly.

Q: I can’t get anything to seal correctly. How far do I place bag in chamber?

Open the lid and place the open end of the bag down into the middle of vacuum chamber. Press both sides of the lid until hear two lock-up sounds.

Q: how many bags can you seal before it needs a break from becoming too hot?

I have been vacuum sealing bags for 8 years before my sealer lock down clamp broke. I used this one for about an hour and tried about 16 vacs and seals. I returned it immediately.
