Best juicer for juicing greens
I bought this juicer to start juicing greens. It has been extremely good for this purpose. The greens come out very dry. I also started to make ice cream with it and the texture is like the real ice cream. I recommend this juicer to anyone that wants to improve their health by juicing greens.

not suitable for Indian electricity
I'm disappointed that when buying this, it was not clearly marked that it was a 120V appliance. It's for sale on Amazon.in, made in Korea, yet for US electricity! Very disappointed.

Best Juicer Ever
We have this juicer for about 3 months now and have been using everyday since getting it. The entire family loves the juice it makes. The pulp that comes out is a bit damp, so most of the juice has been squeeze out of the fruit or vegetables. We loved it so,much that we've been recommending it to our friends and family. I think we've sold about 5 or 6 machines now from our word of mouth advertising. From a benefits of juicing, I've notice I have a lot more energy. I don't get sick at the change of the season anymore. It go more regular and sleep more soundly. I've also note that by complementing juicing with my regular diet(I.e. not changing what i eat, but adding juicing), I've been able to lose some weight and then maintain it.The friends and family that have bought the juicer has been thanking us for recommending it to them. I love this juicer because it's easy to use, makes good juice, maximizes the juice from the produce used and most importantly, it is easy to clean. The easy cleaning encourages the use of the juicer and results in great health benefits.I Highly recommend this one if you're considering getting a juicer.

Great results, easy to use, easy to clean, verstile, but a small opening
I had forgotten and mainly never knew that Orange Juice could taste so good. I have never had my own juicer and the results I get here surpass any fresh squeezed at the restaurant juice I have ever had. I had been buying juice from the store and did not know what real, fresh-squeezed juice can taste like. WOW. This juicer produces amazing, tasty juice. It is extremely easy to use, assemble, disassemble, clean, and set up again. I am new to juicing and if you are searching for a juicer and deciding whether to invest in one that costs this much here is what I think you should consider.Masticating juicer versus a centrifuge juicer. Virtually all lower price juicers (lower than $200) are centrifuge juicers. There are also centrifuge juicers that cost much more than the 8006. I highly suggest using the web to find sites that compare the two. After reading a variety of those sites I knew I wanted a masticating juicer. I am not a biochemist but a lot of the sites claim that centrifuge juicers produce so much heat that can kill enzymes, produce more oxidation, and generally reduce the nutritional benefits of any particular juice you create. I am not here to vouch for that but I can vouch for the following. This juicer is extremely quiet (it is moving at only 70-80 RPM versus 10,000 or more), extremely easy to use, and produces virtually no foam whatsoever, matching other benefits that were mentioned on the web. I also found many sites saying that juice from a masticating juicer will last longer but be aware that you will want to try and drink juice from any juicer fairly soon. Also while I cannot claim to have done a side by side comparison most sites claim around 20% more juice produced by a masticating juicer. So you are getting into juicing. It would be easy to spend say $10 a week on produce. If you got 20% more juice you are getting $2 more worth of juice a week compared to a centrifuge juicer. Or $104 more worth of juice a year. After a few years you have paid for the cost of the juicer. The small opening is not really much of a hassle. Certainly not for citrus which I thought it would be. The effort with citrus is peeling it. Cutting smaller pieces after that is virtually no extra work. I also bought this juicer because of the 15 year warranty. Or 10 year warranty. The box itself it comes in clearly states 15 years so Omega should have to honor that. The card inside says 10 years. Either way the warranty fairly blows away lower priced juicers and probably higher priced centrifuges. The only negative I have experienced so far is the very poorly written manual. There is no section, zero, about cleaning. You just have to figure it out. Fortunately that is pretty easy to figure out. They also did not include a single page of recipes. And the confusing warranty length? That speaks to me again about Omega's poorly run documentation side. Really no one at Omega knows the card they put into the box states something different from the box itself, not a single person there said gee this is different? There is also no way to fill the registration online. Omega does have a website, but most employ the same level of web designers as they do manual writers. Just absurdly bad in those areas. One last thing about negatives. Being a juicer novice I read through the negative reviews here. Most of them come down to saying that parts of the auger (or drill that is pounding the bezessas out of your fruit and vegetables and producing the juice) they found flaking off and showing up on the screen. I have not experienced that at all. Since I am not reviewing the manual per se and I am enjoying the juicer quite a lot otherwise, I did not take off a star.Bottom line, this is an extremely easy to use and VERSTILE juicer that produces great results. My wife and I grow our own lettuce in the fall and winter. While I haven't tried it yet, we are going to try our Swiss chard and may even try wheatgrass. While a masticating juicer like the 8006 can handle all the juicing a centrifuge one can (albeit with a smaller opening) according to everything I read they are much better with lettuces and especially wheatgrass. So for me this was a great decision. Very quiet, easy to use, produces great results, produces more juice, and an extremely long warranty. I highly recommend research if you are in the market for a juicer that costs this much and at minimum researching masticating versus centrifuge juicers. If you decide on a masticating one, then I for one am very happy with the 8006.

great machine!
amazing juicer, way better than the centrifugal one we had before. here are the pros and consprosvery good at dealing with leafy greens, brocolli, and other stuff thats typically dry.extremely fast to clean. less than 60seconds.dead quiet.makes good smothies. try peanut butter, nutella, and frozen fruit. amazing.its really fun to use, my wife and i argue over who gets to use it.conssmall chute, which means more time cutting up veggies and pushing them down.there are some things it cant handle. apples, bananas, mangos. they turn to pulp and its hard for the auger to grab it and push it through the screen. however i dont think any juicer can do better.a bit more expensive than a centrifugal juicer.a few more things. look up the differences between all the 8000 models. there are subtle differences. i recomend spending the extra thirty buck for the models with the stronger auger. ie this one.with apples, bananas, mangos, peaches and other stuff that turns to pulp. dont juice it. use the other fittings provided, and turn it into a smoothie, and juice the other stuff after, then mix them together. works great.overalll this is a great machine and way less expensive than the next best juicer. (super angel $1500)

Great, Effective, Easy to Use/Clean!
I believe I read about every review written before ordering this item. I am a first time juicer and wanted to get as much nutrition out of my juices as possible and not have to spend hours in the process. The longest part of the process is the preparation of the vegetables and fruits, but I have a pretty good system down after about a week. The juicing does not take long and the clean up is a breeze. The improved auger on this model is truly sturdy and solid and the main reason I went with the J8006. It only requires a little counter space when using it, otherwise I tuck it away nicely. As mentioned by others, the pulp that comes out the end is moist, but not super wet and so it extracts a surprising amount of juice from everything, including greens. Some warm soapy water cleans up the attachments very quickly and I leave them on a towel to air dry. So easy to assemble, a caveman could do it (no offense intended). The juicer much quieter than any coffee grinder and I would not hesitate to run it while others are sleeping. My basic green juice (I'll start experimenting with some others and wheat grass later) is as follows: -1 peeled cucumber -4 celery stalks -2 peeled organic red apples -several leaves of Kale and spinach (or whatever leafy greens I have around) -1/2 peeled lemon -3 carrots -4 to 6 one inch chunks of fresh pineappleThis is surprisingly tasty for a beginner like me and I plan on increasing the veggie to fruit ratio over time, because I know if I find it unpleasant, I won't drink it. I highly recommend this juicer. It originally shipped to an address I had not lived at in over 10 years. Lucky the resident who signed for it was a friend and Amazon refunded the item when it was returned via UPS, and neither I or my friend had to pay for any shipping. Even after speaking with a customer service person, who said they erased my old address, I saw it on my profile on my next purchase a week later and had to remove it again. But I paid nothing to reorder it and was merely without it for another week. I still give it 5 stars, because of the product itself.
