BH Cosmetics Contour and Blush Palette

These colors are great and I was ready to throw out all of the highlighters, bronzers, and brighter blushes from my makeup bag, but I have yellow/olive undertones in my skin and had to use A LOT of the product to make it show up.Product update: I had gotten used to this pallet and it was my go-to, but my sister had me try another contour pallet, which she got from Sephora and was quite a bit more expensive. I hated it. I had to buy this pallet again. However, I have noticed that when my skin is a little drier, the colors show up a bit more on my skin.

I like this product quite a bit. There are a few things about it that aren't great though. The matte powder looks great when it is first applied, but it can be super drying to my skin even though I am usually oily. After a few hours, I've noticed some caking around my mouth and under my eyes, which just makes the dryness more noticeable. I think the colors are great. It does take some effort to blend them once they are on your skin, but they look great once you are finished. There is definitely an odor with this product. It smells very strongly of spray paint. It isn't as bad after a couple of weeks, but it is still there for sure. I didn't have an issue with broken powder, but the shipping materials weren't great. I can see how so many people have issues with broken products.

I love using this palette. I've received so many compliments regarding my makeup lately now that I've been using the contour shades. I use the palette everyday with my makeup. You'll have to look to either websites or books about contouring, as there isn't an application guide on how to contour with the pallette. The amount of product is very generous, you won't be disappointed about this. But be mindful of handling the palette as one of the shadows is now cracking after I had the palette jostled in my bag. Otherwise, very good product for the price!

When I was purchasing this product I did glance upon one of the comments below that said the powder caused the customer's skin to breakout, but, thinking that it wouldn't happen to me, I bought the contour palette anyway. To be fair, my skin is combination-oily and does have a tendency to breakout; however, my skin had never once broken out due to a powder---the opposite actually, powders usually help keep my oily skin in check. It's fairly obvious that the contour palette caused me to break out. The spots that broke out were on my temple and along my jawline--places that are typically contoured. I've never seen my skin breakout in streaks before.... I really hope that someone reads this comments and not make the same mistake I did. About 3 months have passed since I've last used the powder and even now I'm still trying to return my skin back to its former state.

I received this item 3 to 5 days earlier then expected. I am very happy with that fact. I am also surprised to see that the palette is much bigger then I thought it was going to be. This should last awhile then. The packaging was cute...a black box that says bhcosmetics.com. Very elegant packaging that still allows you to know what the package most likely contains before opening it.I hope to update this review at a later time when I begin using the product. Hopefully with nothing, but good things to say.

I came across BH cosmetics because of the price. The reviews were good enough to convince me to buy. Even though, I try not to take anybody's word until I know for sure what I think myself. If you want to contour your cheek bones and highlight your face, this works PERFECT! I was using a Walmart brand and it made my face look dirty. This product goes on smoothly and does not flake. Brushes are a must to achieve that though! I will defiantly will buy more when I am out! Thank you!

I was dissapointed in this. the contouring part was either way to light or way to dark, it went on chalky. and the blushes were horrible.

I love this palette! I am not a makeup artist, just love to experiment with my own makeup, but this covers all of my bases! These are very pigmented and each color is huge, so this should last you quite a while. The price for this is great, plus the contour color is something I can not find a dupe for anywhere! It works perfectly with my light olive skin tone.

The colours are very pigmented you don't need a lot of product, gently swipe it with a contour brush and tap the excess product. Colours are beautiful and the brown Is a bit too dark

Die Palette ist sehr groß und somit bekommt man auch viel Produkt. Die einzelnen Farben sind extrem pigmentiert, so dass man wirklich vorsichtig damit umgehen muss wenn man nicht gerade wie ein Clown aussehen möchte. Dies ist für mich jedoch kein negativer Aspeckt!

Die Palette ist riesig (viel größer als erwartet!) und super pigmentiert (man sollte wirklich sehr sparsam damit umgehen).Was allerdings etwas schade war, dass wohl durch den Transport eine Farbe gesprungen ist, aber das lässt sich ja leicht wieder 'reparieren'.Auch finde ich, dass das Braun mehr nach Rotbraun aussieht. Das stört mich etwas, hatte mehr auf ein etwas dunkleres Braun gehofftWürde die Palette aber weiter empfehlen, erst recht für den Preis.
