I didn’t think much when I ordered this smoking gun however, the flavor that was added to our grilled meat was amazing. It was smaller than I had expected but it worked. I would highly recommend giving this smoking gun a try.

I just got this little smoking gun,it looks great so little I would take this camping, over to friends any time I want that smoked goodness. Its a snap, with its own black bag.

Essentially, what this is is a little fire box and a fan that blows smoke into or onto whatever you would like. Does it work? Yes, it does. The fan runs smoothly, blowing out a nice stream of smoke.The unit itself is pretty hefty in weight, being mostly metal (and even heftier when you pop in the 4 AA batteries that's needed). The build is decent, with no obvious blemishes noted. I just didn't care for how the battery compartment is made, with a separate piece that has the battery terminal points on them. That seems like something that may get broken or lost.Otherwise, it works well.

This was great for the first few uses then the fan stopped working. What a disappointment.Update: the company was great and sent a replacement. I have used it several times and so far it has been working great so I changed my 1 star to a 4 star. Have only 4 stars as it says not to leave in more than one minute and that's not long enough.

Used the smoker on chicken and salmon indoors and they both turned out great.
