WOW
WOW, when I first opened up the package these sheets were in, I though they felt rubbery. After I washed them once, holy cow are they amazing. soft, crisp and cool. A bit pricey but well worth it. I wish I could order just the pillow cases, because I actually have kings on a queen.Love the grey pinstripe.Get'em!

High quality
I am super impressed with these sheets. I came across this particular sheet set because I think clothes made out of Pima Cotton are the best in the world, so I gravitated towards finding bed sheets made from this cotton for the first time. Also, I (whether I am right or wrong) did research that mainly pointed to the fact that any sheets that are pushing a 1000 thread count thread are grifting. Basically, the thread count of the sheets around 400 is where you want to be, but if you want to go higher, 800 is max. A count higher than this is where quality seems to decline because it’s not realistic for well spun bedding. So I trusted what I researched and ordered these sheets. They are amazing. You can feel the high quality and keep a hot sleeper like me cool at night or warm if you’re not. You can also tell they will last a long time too.I will be buying these sheets from now on. They come in a well packed and thoughtful manner upon arrival where you can tell this company cares about their product. There is only one suggestion I have for the vendor if they are listening (and it’s a really tiny one). A simple tag sewed into the interior fitted mattress sheet that said “this is the top end” and / or “this is the bottom end”, it would be a chef’s kiss.Hope this review helps!

met expectations
I bought a queen set of these pima cotton percale sheets for my quest bedroom. I have been so impressed with their quality, that I have purchased two more sets. I have not been using them long enough to say how they will last ovetime, but the quality of material and workmanship is as good or better than anything else I have found.

Wrinkly, somewhat scratchy sheets
I bought these sheets because my hubby hates sateen sheets, saying they slip off the bed. He’s not wrong. So I looked for cotton percale and found these Peruvian Pima cotton sheets. I would not buy these again. Reasons:1) They are definitely not wrinkle free. When washed and tumble dried low, they came out incredibly wrinkled. This is the first sheets set I have actually considered ironing. Yuck. I put them on the bed as-is, out of laziness…see item 2.2) The fabric seemed smooth and soft on opening the package. However, after washing the fabric is quite scratchy. This may be partially due to to the wrinkles? But is at least somewhat the fault of the fabric. I was hoping for soft fabric like the good quality Pima cotton shirts and t-shirts I have. No such luck. These are not truly crisp, like I would expect for percale, either. Hopefully more wash cycles will improve them.EDIT: The scratchiness does seem to be at least partially due to the wrinkles. As the sheets relax, and the wrinkles come out, the fabric does seem less scratchy and somewhat softer overall. That at least is good news!3) The “sky blue” color is quite bold and almost bright medium blue with a slight touch of teal. I was hoping for a calmer, lighter blue color for the bedroom. I would not call these “Sky blue”. The color is rather jolting.

Great sheets, but not for thick mattresses over 12 inches
I don't like writing a product review shortly after receiving, but because of sizing, I thought it was important.Quick points.1. These sheets are at the limit of fit for mattresses, like ours, that are 12 inches. You can see from the photo that a portion of the mattress peeks out from the fitted bottom sheet, but it's really not an issue one we get our comforter. I'd say that a 12" mattress is getting close to the limit for the top sheet as well as there was *just enough * extra to tuck under the mattress. This is the only shortcoming.2. Elastic on fitted sheet seems robust. Certainly as good, if not better than our sheets from a famous higher end brand.3. Very comfortable after the first wash. If you like percale, you will be surprised with the softness after the first wash.4. Wrinkles. Lots of soft wrinkles out of the dryer and that's just how we like it. It's cotton percale...5. Piling... Can't comment, but *should * not be an issue given its Pima cotton. I will try to revisit in a year.Borderline fit aside, we will be buying another set soon.Note to manufacturer: I would make your sheets larger to at least accommodate mattresses up to 14-16“

Just meh for the cost
These are the most expensive sheets I've ever bought. I've bought several around the $100 range and found them flimsy, not the way I remember percale from growing up. So I thought if i spent a little more, they'd be better. These are definitely not flimsy, they are substantial fabric so that's nice. But they are not as crisp or cool as I'd like percale to be (and the flimsy ones ARE crisp and cool). These are a little scratchy and I thought quite hot. Almost like a light weight flannel. I will keep them, and see how they age, but I won't buy these again.

The only sheets I use.
I found Peruvian Pima cotton years ago when I purchased polo shirts for my children. I have loved the crisp feel of percale sheets but didn’t really understand what “percale” meant. I spent years buying high thread count sheets looking for the crisp feeling I remembered as a child. I found these after determining that what I was looking for was percale sheets. With my knowledge of Peruvian Pima cotton I gave these a try. Now I ONLY use these sheets. Many wrinkles, but who cares. They make for a delicious night of sleep!!

Supposed to come with Standard pillow cases
When I ordered them the sheets were supposed to come with two standard size pillow cases. Of course the set came with two King size pillowcases. Way too big for my pillows so the set was actually only two sheets and unusable pillow cases. The sheets are very nice but not worth the price if you can't use the pillow cases.

Not as soft as I thought
Not as soft as I’d expect. Given what I paid for them not all that impressed :(

False Advertising!
These are not percale sheets. The fabric is extremely thin, the sheets act more like flannel where they cling to you, and they don’t have the refreshing coolness of percale. These “Peruvian” sheets have a made in India label. I would never buy these again.

Not what was ordered
First of all only the bottom sheet was Pima cotton but the top sheet and pillow cases were Egyptian cotton. The quality of the pima cotton sheet was not very good at all. The Egyptian sheet was of much better quality though.
