We have worked hard to create an affordable pole with plenty of strength and power. Importantly, the pole can be comfortably fished at its full 8m length. As with all our latest Drennan poles, this is also a true-length model and is fishable at its stated length without any cutting back. The pole comes with one Red Range Margin Kit inside the pole plus a spare Margin Kit. These are extra strong top 2s with a wide bore that will accept red 18-20 Carp Bungee or equivalent pole elastic without cutting back. Each top kit is 2.3m long and also comes pre-bushed with a 5.4mm Super Slick PTFE. Margin Carp Kits also come with a pre-fitted Side Pull Slot and Roller Cones so you can take full advantage of our super-smooth Side Pull System. Owners of the Red Range Carp 11m and RX Carp 13m poles will also be pleased to know that the top kits are interchangeable between these two models and the Margin Carp. A Cupping Adaptor and 250ml Polemaster pole pot are also included should you wish to convert one of the top kits into a cupping kit. You also get an EVA nose cone for the No3 section, a selection of Side Pull Beads and a Skid Bung to protect the base of the pole when shipping in and out. This pole comes with £10 worth of pole rigs free.

Excellent Pole. Using 10lb elastic bringing in Carp easily including a 14lb Carp. Nice and light and a pleasure to use. Would recommend

Good but not as strong and well made as advertised
I love fishing with this pole. BUT I’ve had one top-section M2 disintegrated while trying to land a 15lb fish it exploded and the M1 section went into the lake gone forever. Two days later when striking and missing a fish the M4 section split. So £29 for a top end and £29 for an M4 section. My suggestion is buy two fish with one and use the other for spares. In my opinion and without prejudice I don’t think they are half as strong as advertised or built to the exacting standards as advertised . The majority of angling shops are sold out of replacement M1/2 top ends. I wonder why. I found a shop with 5 in stock and the manager said we sell hundreds of these. Please draw your own conclusionsLike I said I love it but it’s not lived up the the rugged super strong hype. It’s relatively cheap for a 8m pole but I for one am disappointed

Great value for money
For a cheap entry level carp pole performs really well, have had a 12lb carp on it with no issues,so impressed I brought a 2nd one for my granddaughter not heavy little bit of bounce but a good around margin pole for carp.
