Box of 3 balls to be used separately. You just throw one in the hot tub and let it bob around and to its work. It doesn't shed any fluff or get stuck in filters. I can see how these could be a good product, however my hot tub just down get that dirty (only 2 of us use it), so I cannot comment on how effective they are. But I would say if you have kiddies getting in and out all day these are definitely worth a go.

So disappointed with this product. Firstly it sheds small white fibres constantly which have blocked my filter, necessitating a complete water chane and scrub down of the hot tub after 3 months. I usually get 5 to 6 months with the silver sentinel filter which you cannot rinse and I was surprised how blocked it was. I think these do trap some oils/scum but do not wash well and do not return to their original shape. Having had a hot tub since 1999 I have never had to change the water so soon, nor have it go bad on me so quickly and as I have not changed anything apart from adding these to my tub then I have to assume they have caused a filtration and water issue.

This product arrived in a branded cardboard box. Inside were 3 white fluffy balls. We do not have a hot tub but I thought they might be useful for the cold pod. I popped the 3 of them in just after cleaning and then left them until the next due cleaning, normally 2 weeks later. The balls are a great design and simple to use. They did pick up some debris but there were still bits floating in the pod. It could be that they are exclusive for hot tubs and not effective when used in cold pods.
