Maybelline Brow Precise Micro Eyebrow Pencil Makeup, Light Blonde, 0.002 Ounce

I was honestly afraid to choose the Blonde shade as I'm a bottle blonde and my brows are medium brown. I love this, even more so than the brow pencil I've used for years, YBF, which is sold on HSN, and previously QVC.This is a very fine pencil so you can't twist much out at once, otherwise you'll break the tip off. I extend it barely over 1/16" of an inch at a time, then twist it back into the pencil until next use.This lasts all day! And it looks very natural.In my photo, the YBF pencil (top line) is supposed to be a universal taupe. I think the Maybelline Blonde shade (bottom line) looks even more taupe than the YBF pencil. Plus the Maybelline has virtually no "flaking" as you can see with the YBF pencil.

I normally use the NYX micro pencil, but decided to take a risk on this one since it's half the price. I saw other reviews where they said the pencil wouldn't retract and crumbled when they tried using it, and also saw others that said the opposite. Unfortunately, I got one that didn't work. The pencil wouldn't retract and when I tried to use it, chunks crumbled off. By the third time I tried to use it, I advanced it, the tip crumbled of 3/4 of the way through my first brow even when I was being EXTREMELY careful to apply as light pressure as possible, and it wouldn't advance any more. I don't know if it was broken or truly out of product...I had only used MAYBE 1/4" (yes, it really did fall apart that much that I had to use a full 1/4" for doing my eyebrows 2.5 times). Even without the mechanical problems of the pencil, calling it "auburn" and "micro" are a bit of a stretch. NYX and ABH are much more reddish--this one was definitely more dark brown with a hint of red. The other two are also much more fine point. This felt like trying to do my eyebrows with a mechanical eyeliner pencil. The formula is too soft, too dark, and just not fine enough to be called "micro". I'll be going back to what I know is tried and true!

I hardly wear makeup, I used this pencil the first time and It would not come out enough for me to use, I thought I wasn't doing something right but because I was in a hurry, I thought I would figure it out later. To my greatest surprise, there is not much of a pencil in this thing, I twisted, turned etc just to get enough liner to use but nope, nothing there. Of course, I could not return it because I waited way too long to use it, as I said I hardly wear make up, so I didn't have an immediate use for it after I received it in the mail. This is garbage, save your money and buy something you can use more than once. 1 start cause no 0 star

I am one of those girls that won't leave the house without my eyebrows filled in. I over plucked and I have fine hair, so they are really non-existant.This eyebrow pencil is pretty good. the precision tip lets me fill in my thin eyebrows, but doesn't go on extra heavy, so I can layer the look. Since it does go on thin, I find myself having to re-apply a bit during the day, but at least that means my brows are always on point! The price is about right for the product. I have tried some other really expensive ones that don't do as good of a job, so this is a nice option to have in my make up bag.

I'm a reluctant user of eyebrow pencil, but the outer halves of my eyebrows became very light as I got older, and it bugged me. After trying half a dozen different pencils & powders, this is the easiest one to use! The brush at the end is key. I can make a few strokes in the general outline I'm trying to achieve, fill in just a bit, then take the brush and stroke it downward and upward across my eyebrow to soften the lines and blend the pigment across the eyebrow area. After a little practice, it's really quick to use, and that's important to me -- I don't like to fuss! My eyebrows stay darkened until I shower. I'm not using it to create precisely outlined, very dark brows (although that seems to be the current fashion, and I think this pencil would work well for that technique also), but rather to add just a little suggestion of darker color.

Do not buy this pencil! It crumbled each time I tried using it. I had it only a few days and discovered it was entirely used up. I am not heavy handed and used short light strokes to apply the pencil. Each time it crumbled and broke off. I was very disappointed with this product.

This is far and away the best eyebrow shaping pencil I have ever found in my entire life. My hair is natural light blonde so of course the shade I use is Blonde. It's more like a light taupe or light tan but since my eyebrows are a little darker than my hair, the shade is perfect. I have withheld two whole stars because today, after only six weeks of once-a-day applications, I twisted the pencil to expose the crayon and discovered that there's virtually none left! Luckily, I had already purchased a couple of extras because I like the color and the very fine tip so much, but I am disappointed that there is so little product for the money. Not sure if I'll be back for more when I totally run out. Phooey.

I have used this product for years with no problem. Shipping was the issue. It arrived solo in a giant envelope. It wasn’t packaged on a card like normal but was instead wrapped super, super tightly with a plastic seal. It was so hard to get it off that I had to use scissors to scrape it. I injured the area under my fingernail with the plastic trying to remove it. Finally pulling the tape off made the lid, some of the actual pencil, and the sticky label come off. Now the pencil is a sticky, scratched mess! Not worth the time, money, and waste! Ugh!

Court un peu, mais correct. Couleur un peu trop pale, normalement je prend brun pale, mais je pense qu'avec celui-ce brun foncé aurait été mieux.

Un buen lápiz de cejas debe ser muy firme para que no parezca un pegoste el maquillaje y pueda ser aplicado con precisión. En este caso el lápiz es muy blando. Como la punta sale girando la base, y este sistema no funciona bien (se regresa constantemente el contenido) la aplicación termina siendo mala. No lo recomiendo

No es retráctil, una vez que sacas la punta no se vuelve a meter, tampoco es muy duro y nada cremoso por lo que no pinta muy bien y cuando le tratas de poner un poco de presión se desmorona completamente o deja trozos grandes del lápiz, trate de hacerlo funcionar pero es extremadamente difícil de trabajar. El color es demasiado oscuro, no tienen ningún pigmento naranja o rojo , es solo un café chocolate. Muy decepcionada.

I am really happy with this product. The colour is perfect, it seems to last. Considering I didn't see the product in person, I couldn't be happier.
