Need a product that was going to work
I have linked in a extra filter tank to my fish pond and needed a non-return valve in the flow pipe , and this worked first time very pleased.

Using on the outlet from my sump pump to stop full length of pipe draining back into the sump when float switch cuts out and seems to perform well.

Was a cone
Was not a whale valve but a cheap copy when I tackled them about it was told it was a mix up and when I returned it a whale would be sent, received a full refund still no whale valve ? Not happy clearly some using whals great name to sell uknamed brand as they look similar , and he tried telling me they was Marine grade, I term used for grades of stainless steel ! Will not do business with this guy again informed amozon but nothing has happened the guys still selling his dodge gear

Odd size fitting
This is "ok". Not bad, but not great, just ok. Both fittings seem unusual sizes and I had to heat the 38mm pipe up to soften it in order to make it force-fit. It is not 100% fool proof either and water does slowly seep back through the valve.
