With a great variety of cook tops and other devices in the market, control can be quite daunting. The engineers that developed this device did a good job providing the parts necessary to adapt it so that it will work in a large number of appliances. A caution however--the pinouts on the device may not match those of the control being replaced and the pilot Connection Is too close to the L2 connection requiring the use of a provided jumper wire. for these reasons it is important to read the instruction very carefully before proceeding with a repair.

I used two of these to control (2) 240 V 2500 W quartz infrared heaters on my patio. They work perfectly and slowly pulse them on and off just as they would with a range top burner.
