I purchased a cover for this mixer and I love it! Great quality

I ordered the KitchenAid KSM155GBCA Artisan Design Series 5-Quart Mixer, in Candy Apple. I placed the order through apparently, a new seller to Amazon - Geyerkitchen. All I could see about the seller was the name and the statement: " is committed to providing each customer with the highest standard of customer service." You usually don't have a good experience with a new seller but with the type of quality mixer I choose I felt that I couldn't lose. This seller FAR EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS AND THAT STATEMENT!I placed the order and realized that the seller is allowed a number of days to get the item in the mail and additional days for delivery. This would have put a crunch on my schedule to do baking for events throughout the month of February but most importantly, my husband's birthday which is Valentine's Day! I wrote to the seller and asked if there were any way the delivery date could be expedited and that I was happy to pay for an earlier delivery date. The Seller responded within hours: "you will enjoy with my service." I didn't know what that meant. The following business day there was my KitchenAid KSM155GBCA Artisan Design Series 5-Quart Mixer, in Candy Apple at my front door via Fed Ex. I cannot guess how much it cost to ship FED EX such a heavy item.When I opened my "gift" to myself, my son was home. He said, "I guess it was time for a new mixer. You had the other one since I was this big." That last mixer lasted me for 21 years. It was a Sunbeam hand mixer. "Boy, you have really upgraded." This 21 - year old knows nothing about kitchen appliances. But even he knew it was something special. I told him, "This will be given to your wife and after that your children." I won't be giving it up anytime soon. He is single right now. LOL!I saw where someone else ordered a KitchenAid mixer through a different Amazon seller as a present and the mixer was delivered in a well marked box so that the element of surprise was spoiled and to add insult to injury, it was damage during delivery.Not the case with Geyerkitchen. This KitchenAid KSM155GBCA Artisan Design Series 5-Quart Mixer, in Candy Apple was gift wrapped beautifully beyond my wildest dreams. This was a VERY NICE TOUCH! This actual mixer box was carefully fitted inside of a shipping box and that box was inside another. VERY well packaged. A lot of care seemed to go into the packing and shipping of my mixer. I love the extra touches from the shipper. If you are ordering this mixer or any other item for someone special as a gift, use this seller. It would be treated and delivered better than you could do yourself.This seller went above and beyond to ensure that the item arrived well before the promised delivery date. This seller sold me an item exactly as described. I've wanted one of these for as long as I can remember but could never justify the cost. I was single, worked a million hours and didn't bake or cook that often. Now, I'm at home full time and decided I was just going to treat myself. I researched them all and decided on this one. I even picked the most beautiful color, Azure Blue. If anyone tells you that's not a fun thing to pick, they are crazy.This thing can do just about anything you want it to. I've tried a number of recipes in the little cookbook it comes with and you can find tons online. I've made breads, pudding, sausage balls, cookies, cakes, mashed potatoes and cauliflower and the list goes on. Is super powerful and hasn't faltered with anything I've tried. If it can do sausage balls well in this, that's one heck of a motor. I just ordered another accessory and can't wait to try it out. I'll eventually get the pasta maker but, baby steps.I got the glass bowl and it locks in place easily. It's also easy to clean and that is a good thing. The ring at the bottom is small and it doesn't sit upright well in my sink so I tend to wash it as soon as I'm done and replace it.The absolute most fun is sitting my girls on the counter and letting them help. I'll measure out the ingredients and let them poor them in. They get a kick out of making things with me and that really makes this money well spent.

To the packager's of the KitchenAid Mixer. Outstanding!!!!!!!! People who wish to purchase this mixer buy mail have no worries, your mixer will arrive in great shape. This item was packaged so well by Amazon and KitchenAid that someone would have to delibertly want damage the product to be damaged it.Love the color !!!! Put this product on your counter top and watch how it brightens your kitchen up.This mixer is the ulimate in home mixers. Its quit. Do not get me wong it not silent, but remember mom's electric egg beater and how noisey they where. Well not this one. I took this machine and gave it a test drive. I wanted to break this machine in right. I ran this machine with a bowl of water for 20 minutes on low, then 1 hour on low, then 1 hour on high breaking in the gears. Some customers complained of heat on the head of the machine. To hot to the touch. Well there was no heat to speak of on my machine after the one hour runs. To this day my machine is quite and cool headed. Note most mixing times are less then 10 minutes.The glass bowl is great. You can see how your ingredents are being mixed together.The tilit back head makes installing and removal of tools simple. Scraping the bowl edges is easy but if you buy the KitchenAid Flex Edge Beater Fits 4.5 Quart and 5 Quart Tilt Head Mixers your scraping of the bowl edges is kept to a bare minium. I truly love this beater, it is a true time saver.I have made many cheese cakes and dessert dishes with this mixer and all have turned out great. If you deside to buy this mixer you will not regret it. This mixer is worth every penny you spend on it.

I bought this mixer in 2016 in Azure Blue. So beautiful! I can't belive they discontinued the color. It's still works beautifully and it looks beautiful on my counter
