The smell is wonderful! I am allergic to almost everything and this is very gentle on my skin.

Have been using this fabric softener for years. It does not have a heavy cloying scent. Highly recommend if your not looking for a heavy scented product. Clothes are soft and it lasts. I also like that it is a botanical makeup.

This is the best smelling, best working (softest clothes) fabric softener I have ever used. Used it exclusively for a couple of years after I discovered it, then next time I needed some, it could not be found in my local stores at all, so I went to the internet and searched, and found it's discontinued by Gain. There's a replacement scent, so I tried that one.... hard pass. Don't like the scent. Pretty much everything else about the replacement is OK, but that scent... ugh. Please, GAIN, bring this back to market.

I like that it's supposedly plant based ...the scent doesnt linger that long.My bottles were on time and thankfully undamaged..Some people complain that each bottle can't last 48 loads and I agree.If you use 1 ounce per medium load you're only getting 44 loads per bottle and 1 ounce is where I have drawn the black line on cup. 🤷‍♀️

I really like the scent of this softner. It's not overly strong but does last. I notice when using this on my bath towels that the towels have a slight waxy feel to them which I don't really like. I'll probably just reduce the amount of softner used to see if that provides a good balance of softness and scent.

Most softeners cause me to break out in hives, not this one! I have unfiltered well water in my washing machine and it always comes out smelling not so fresh, but with gain botanicals it gives an extra boost that keeps my clothes smelling fresh and clean. I am no longer able to find this softener in ANY scent in stores anymore, thanks amazon!

This my absolute favorite scent from Gain! I’ve been buying it for years and recommend to all my friends or I’ve bought some for them to try! It stays super fresh smells, especially in your clothes drawer’s shut or in an enclosed closet space!

I mean, it's fabric softener...Smells great, not too strong, and not distracting or too much when it's on sheets or blankets. Don't think it lingers much, but I've got dogs, so whether other scents take over or I just go nose blind, I couldn't say.I have sensitive skin and s dig who is allergic to all of the things, and neither of us have had any skin issues (I've had more breakouts... It might be this, but it might be other things too).Seems to be anti static, though, I also use dryer sheets.
