ZyXEL Simultaneous Dual-Band Wireless AC1750 Media Router (NBG6716)

I've been buying Zyxel routers since 2003, first the P-334WH and then the P-334WT. I had a few problems with both of them over the years, but Zyxel was very good about replacing them free of charge.As I "upgraded" my internet provider services, I noticed I wasn't getting the wifi or Ethernet speeds I was paying for and also had problems streaming movies wireless in HD (they would always revert to SD saying I didn't have the broadband capability); if I went wired, they would stream fine. After speaking with my internet provider and Zyxel customer service, I determined it was my router; it didn't have the capability of supporting the speeds I was receiving so it was time to upgrade and this was the router I chose. Note: Even after replacing my old Zyxel router, I still wasn't getting the wifi speeds I should have on my Dell XPS 17 L702 laptop. I found out, it was my laptop, not the router; my wifi adaptor didn't support the hi-speed I was receiving from my internet services. (I've since upgraded my laptop to; now I have an Alienware 17 R3 and I'm getting the speed now).I've had this router since May 2015 and have no complaints whatsoever. I wifi stream on my 50" Panasonic plasma and 32" Samsung Smart TV, along with my 2 laptops along with a desktop with no issues. The setup was easy (and I'm no expert); had it up and running within 15 minutes. So if you're looking for a good wifi router that's powerful, easy to setup, will give you excellent service, and has a reasonable price, I highly recommend this one.

Solid stability. Weird that after several months to a year the same microwave we've had started to interfere with the 802.11n signal. Had to switch major devices to 802.11ac. This obviously affects range. Performance is adequate. The closer you get to the router, the faster data transfers are. I've seen +60mbps on speedtest.net with Spectrum's "base" service (they advertise 100mb for new customers, but us old customers are stuck at 70mbps. Hooray for customer loyalty/service).I pretty much never restart this thing. That's good. User interface for configuration page could be a lot better.

This product was very difficult to set up. It took several attempts but I finally got it to work. I swear I did nothing different but suddenly it just worked right before I repackaged it to send it back! It is not as powerful as I thought it should be. My upstairs computer gets only two bars and is only 60 feet away.

works great but may be a little pricy

difficult to set up! once i got it set up, the range is not good.. poor wifi. want to return it and its too late, amazon ?

Zyxel is very disappointing - they offer just the most basic functions, the configuration (and possiblities) are just like 10 years ago - except they removed the power user settings. They support DHCP... and that's almost all.Compare it with originally non-router-companies like WD or the ASUS RT-N16: they are much, much more up-to-date, are rocked solid and have great configuration possibilities.We have sent back the device.

This unit is another powerful Zycel router but it is buggy when it comes to the advanced configurator... Wasn't too happy to have to reconfigure it after a few days of usage. Using the wizard fixed the problem but still...
