Adjustable Breakfast Bar Worktop Support Table Leg 710, 820, 1100 (Brushed Chrome, 1100 mm)

This is the second occasion that I've ordered a post for a worktop. The item was delivered promptly and is fantastic value for money.

Good quality for the price but the bracket shown in pictures is not the one that came with leg.Didn't bother me but pictures should be more accurate, especially when one of the pictures is of the bracket hole layout.Would have been 5 stars if not for this small detail.

Needed a support that did not match the standard heights, so bought the taller version, easily removed the bottom plastic, cut to size to centre in the 30mm range of adjustment, reinserted the bottom plastic, fitted and works fine.

Excellent service and product. Arrived before the due date and willing to accept the return as I ordered it by mistake.

The leg its self is nice however it came with no screws and the bolt which attatched the leg to the bracket was completly the wrong size i used this for a breakfast bar so once it was up i got away with not needing the bolt as it was secure enougj without it

Mine is fine. I needed to cut it a bit and the saw slides easily. That could leave a nasty looking scratch.Installed it looks smart. Mine is holding up a 'coffee bar' counter top in my kitchen and has attracted more admirers than the counter top!

This is the first time I have ever been disappointed with an Amazon purchase after many years of wonderful products!The legs were shipped by courier and arrived promptly (although shipping to Cyprus cost £25).Unfortunately, the product does not match the pictures or description. The mounting plate is not cast aluminium as shown in the pictures but a rather flimsy pressed steel as can be seen in my pictures (note also that the chrome plating is bubbling off them). They were also supplied with wholly inadequate screws which were far too small for the mounting holes.The legs are also hollow - they do not have a steel rod through the middle as other reviewers have said - the attachment screw is fixed to a welded plate at the open end.I really didn't want to return them as I already had the top that they were to be fitted to on order. However, after buying new screws and fitting them to the worktop it was just not secure enough to be practical.The Good - they look lovely!The Bad - tiny screws supplied and mounting plate not strong enough for a heavy worktop - something lightweight would be fine.The Ugly - chrome plating blistering from mounting platesNow waiting for paperwork for credit and return.
