Nokia 6021 Tri Band Phone - Sim Free

I'm tired of the whole smartphone thing, it's all a load of cobblers, you can't surf the web properly on any phone - even the iPhone and that does it better than anything else, playing games etc on a phone, great, if you want to go blind squinting at a tiny screen.So, anyhoo, time to drop the smartphone (Nokia N8) out of an 8th floor window as it happened, made a very pleasing crunch as it hit the floor and look for something that makes calls, sends the odd text with the minimum of fuss and with a lack of 700 menus and sub menus and sub sub menus. Found this, it's perfect, solid looking, came with a brand new front and rear facia (mine looks brand new), new battery and brand new Nokia branded charger. Popped in a PAYG sim and off I went, phone works great, cost buttons and just does its job nicely, big thumbs up. If like me you can't be bothered with all that smartphone on an expensive contract toss then this is perfect.

Wanted triband phone for use on trip to USA, which would take USA SIM card ( to enable cheap calls home). Phone worked OK but showed more signs of wear than I had anticipated.

no charger or cable,scuffed and sticky and doesnt switch on.fast delivery though!! not worth returning

Arrived well before estimated time in secure packaging. I bought it for a forth coming trip to the usa so as yet I haven't used it much, still using my old phone. I had some difficulty in switching it on since there were no operating instructions with it and the on switch was stiff to operate -no five year old available to consult!. It is a cheap usable basic phone that probably not be used after my trip.

Those idiots who "must have" a multi function phone that sprays Chanel Number 5 into the ear of the user are totally out of touch with the real world of many decent hard- working people. No; the real hard workers, not the ones the politicians bleat on about. This little simple phones is enabling one man to keep in touch with available work and he takes every job that is available when he is able to hear of it through this basic receiver. Some of the pretentious idiots texting twaddle to each other all day might well realise that not long ago this phone was a dynamic new breakthrough. It is STILL a lifesaver. Excellent description and works brilliantlyBut the picture is of a different colour phone so was a bit surprised of what I got.

Bought it for an older family member who cannot get use to new technology. so it works fine for him.

Very light and met the prime need of an 'old style' alpha-numeric keypad. Finish is very 'plasticy' but seems to work fine.
