Wouldn't buy another
This is a complicated product. It isn't as easy to install as suggested. The enclosed 'instructions' are absolute rubbish, relying on drawings rather than language and time limits that are almost impossible to keep - especially if you're 76, as I am. I appreciate that Byron sell their products all over Europe, but 12 languages is a bit much, when fewer would allow for more and better illustrations. I had so much trouble following the originals I had to download some alternative instructions from the web. Even they relied on the same illustrations, but were saved by some language (in English) that explained what you were supposed to do. Why can't Byron improve things? Money, I suppose. However, all that being said, the wretched bell seems to work, now that I've spent almost a whole day installing it. I very nearly sent it back and bought another type.

Never got both receivers working together. Bell broke after 6 months.
It did have several frequencies, so my neighbours bell stopped ringing with mine, which was great. However, it has two receivers, one always worked ok, but we gave up resetting the other one - it never really worked for more than a couple of days. After 6 months the battery in the door bell needed replacing, but with a new battery it only worked for two weeks, so there is something wrong with the bell.I think a bell system should last longer than 6 months!

Just didn't work
It's simple enough to install - just plug in one, and put batteries in the other, but the unit I had just din't work so it had to be returned.Byron doorbells are generally quite good though so I did buy another one which worked just as expected - the Byron DB313.Update 06/07/21: Even the second Byron doorbell stopped working, after about 3 months after buying it. AVOID BYRON WIRELESS DOORBELLS AT ALL COSTS - just not worth it. They might be cheap but they're not even worth what you pay for.

Ok
I don’t think it has a volume control. The doorbell sounding tones are limited to only 2. The music options last for longer but elderly mother preferred classical doorbell. Wish had bought a set that could add more plugins to.

Good Product
I bought one of these sets for our house about six months ago and it has been working fine. Bought this one for my Mother. On both unit packages it stated there were two sound options, whereas there must be around 20 different chime tones, ranging from ding dong to the Titanic tune. All tones are loud. The push button has a good sealing system against the weather and can be screw fixed or stuck on with adhesive pads (not supplied). All components appear to be well made. Instructions are clear and the units are easy to set up. The mains and the portable sounders can have different chime tones. The two sets I bought were on different frequencies and therefore did not interact with each other. I have not noticed any false (ghost) activations during the 6 months odd we have had our set in operation.

Works wonders
Lovely chime, open the ringer and inside next to the battery you will be able to change the ring tones,Careful with your broadband, not much of problem but some of them can cause interference. If it does just change the channel(Do not drop the ringer to many times, It will stop working)Still excellent product , I do recommend it
