Auto Companion Coolbox Hot Cold Portable Electric Cool Box 32L 240V AC & 12V

We used this on a road trip to Spain from uk. Plugged it in a few hours before we filled it. Used a couple of ice packs. Tip. Put a tea towel in the bottom before filling. It soaks up any moisture.. used it all through the journey for cold drinks and food . Plugged into the mains of our overnight hotel. It worked like a dream, cold milk next morning. Not too noisy. Excellent.The bad bit. It is VERY heavy when loaded and I struggled to lift it. Maybe some wheels or casters ?

This is now a total essential for us when we are on days out and long trips. This size is a good size for us. It holds drinks, cheeses, butter, cold meats.We use it both from the car cigarette lighter while in the travelling and then via the mains plug while in a hotel. When packed well, this keeps us going for 3 days.We have only used it on the cool function but it has a keep warm function too.Sturdily built. Recommended

We bought this for ocasional use (ie 4-5 times a year)Tested at home.... Seemed good...Now testing on camp and it seems very good! (Used end of August). It's not been the hottest of weekends but has kept the ice packs frozen for 48 hrs and now starting to go slushy 72 hours in... Powered via the mains....from the elec hookup. .Overall... fantastic purchase and for the "cooling" type box.... This has performed perfectly... (, Remember it's not a fridge and is designed to cool below ambient temp rather than be refrigerated type! .... My experience iw that it's performed very well!S

arrived before estimated date (great service).it is a little heavy, and surprisingly larger than a standard cooler box , 32 litres.the colour of the cooler is really nice, as well as the construction.motor of the cooler - heater , is a slight hum that isn't going to annoy me at all.yes it was a bit expensive , but you get what you pay for.will be used for holidays and fishing trips .summer cool soft drinks, winter take aways to be kept hot until we want to eat them.would recommend this .

We purchased this cooler after reading several reviews both good and bad on various coolers before deciding on this one, as it met all our criteria.we were not disappointed!! we bought this on the basis we were travelling to Brittany by car with an overnight stop at an Ibis hotel both ways. We also knew that there were no fridges in the rooms, and my medication had to be kept cool.this cool box delivered on all counts both in the car and in the hotel, keeping everything nice and cold.One bit of advice, make sure the items you carry in the cooler are cold to start with, as this is NOT a fridge, its a cooler !! If you have freezer blocks better still.We drove back from Brittany without freezer blocks, and all the cheese,meat, and butter were still very cold when we got home some 48 hours later.Brilliant cooler, better than expected

It looks great , easy to operate , nice size , and i plugged in the mains in conservatory , within 2 hours the inside was very cold , i was quite impressed . i am travelling to Italy in August , that would be the real test , will add it when i come back.

This cooler box is a good size and very quiet when switched on. It also keeps things cool as expected. Unfortunately the plug gets very hot and makes the car plug socket (plus everything around it) hot as well. I decided to return it as I don't think it's safe to use - too much risk of burning out my car's plug socket.
