Always faithful
This is easily the best liver paste you can buy for your dogs, it's thick and has great consistency, you can easily hide a tablet inside a rolled up ball and the thickness of the paste is perfect for making small balls to aid in this purpose too. You can even stir or mix in a few drops of medicine if it is in liquid form too.I've yet to see a dog that isn't absolutely mad on the stuff and don't pause to consider there might be a tablet or something else smuggled inside it, they just wolf it down instantly and always come back for seconds. It's not just for tablets though, it makes an effective if messy treat for your dogs as well.I've tried pill pockets. They're not very useful - they work, sure - but they tear and fall to pieces extremely easily, the tablet often falls out of them when the dog is eating it, and the bag itself might contain maybe 50% of actual whole pill pockets and the rest of the bag is just generic mush. Liver paste? Liver paste will never let you down, you can fashion it into the perfect sized tablet smuggler any time you need it. Good stuff. There's only really one flaw with these and that's the metal tube causing crimps and making it difficult to squeeze the stuff out, especially thanks to how thick the paste is too. You might hurt your hands if you don't have a particularly good grip or your hands are soft - my advice is buying one of those tube squeezer devices to go with it, it makes the job easier, cleaner and more efficient too!Great purchase, happy purchase. Good liver paste every time - my dogs are grateful.

The Crack Cocaine of the Dog World
If you look up the word "wimp" in the dictionary you'll see a picture of my little terrier MR.Benn.Nails clipped? ArrrggghhhhEars cleaned? YikessssssssssInjection? OwwwwwwwwwPill? PfffffftttOne of the above with Arden Grange Liver Pate? Oh yes yes yes yes bring it on yes yes yes please do it again...It literally is the difference between him accepting his medical treatment or us having to abandon it.I find it quite stiff to squeeze out so bought one of the little key gadgets. A little goes a long way, and although I bought this one from Amazon in an emergency, I do actually find it cheaper from the vet. Then I have to open it and give him some because he gives me puppy dog eyes until he gets some.Brilliant stuff. What did people do before they started selling it?!

Useful for kong.
Puppy likes it. Tube is quite hard to squeeze straight from fridge.

Great but not for my dog.
It’s a little hard to review this product fairly as my dog has quite a sensitive tummy and unfortunately didn’t respond very well to this paste. However, he absolutely loved the taste and I found it was very effective for training. I am quite disappointed that we won’t be able to buy this again, but if your dog doesn’t have a sensitive tummy, I would recommend this paste. It’s very easy to use, but you have to use it within a space of time, once opened, that was too short for my small dog. Regardless of the outcome for him, we wouldn’t have gotten through it as it would have exceeded his daily allotment of treats, much to his dismay!

Pet treat
Product arrived in good time. This is great for both cats and dogs. It's especially good for disguising medication.

It leaks
Excellent product as a trainer I have been buying and recommending this stuff for years but.... Tube now very thin one bite from your dog and it's punctured and useless. Very difficult to squeeze out unless you have strong hands and it now leaks oil so be careful which pocket you put it in, use an old coat! Does make me smile that new packaging says "not tested on animals" ???????

This is brilliant stuff for tableting
I am so impressed with this product. I have an elderly dog with liver issues - he's become very difficult to tablet and we've tried everything, he quickly wises up to things, or treats which have worked can often set off his stomach, which is much more sensitive due to his health condition. He's currently on three types of tablet, a joint supplement and a milk thistle supplement, so this daily routine had become time consuming and stressful for all involved, leading to him becoming very fussy with foodstuffs, as he hates the taste of some of his tablets, which he often finds hidden. We've now been using this paste for over a month - I can easily mould it around his tablets and he loves it every time! I also feel as though he's eating better because he trusts us again in regards to food - as he would carefully chew foodstuffs suspecting a hidden tablet!Quick tip for those whom have difficulty squeezing the tube - take it out the fridge for about 30 minutes to reach room temperature and it becomes much easier to dispense.
