Great product,comfortable, and doesn't feel weird at all. You dont need break in time. The mattress is VERY heavy. If you have stairs it can be done with one person, but I recommend two.

I wish I just got a regular memory foam mattress. The purple mattress was a regret. This thing sags in the middle and has caused lots of back pain and neck pain for my partner. The weight of the pillows is funny. You could knock someone out with the pillow its so heavy. The other issue is the return policy. Amazon only has 30 days to return it and if you buy from purple you have 100. My mistake.

Purple has great marketing. They also control the reviews on their website and will remove anything negative. Do not buy into it.The mattress appears comfortable at first but give it a few weeks and you will begin to experience back pain and sweaty spots where your body stays in contact with the mattress (read other reviews, they all say it).Unfortunately, they also have very poor customer support. When I reached out to them explaining my back pain, they only tried to convince me I needed to buy their sheets as well for it to be comfortable (so another steep $ investment to get things right?). Then when I reached out a second time after “giving my body more time to adjust” as they suggested, they now refuse to help in anyway as I’m just outside of the 100 day trial. Not worth the money and the hassle - this company is fabricating a positive image on the web but it is false.

Excellent relief of pressure points!

I love how supportive the mattress is when laying on my back. I had a sore back when I first layed down on the bed and it was instant relief. The bed feels very firm, however, and is not so comfortable for side sleeping.

Horrible bed that gave made my back pain worse!! I tried to give it time, and go through the “break in” period but it never got better. It’s stiff and uncomfortable. I just missed the 100 day return policy by a couple days because I was out of town and they told me there was nothing they could do. Now I’m stuck with this awful mattress and are out $1500 and can’t afford a new mattress. Stay away from this company and their mattress!!
