This review started out as a 2-star "ding" for questionable battery life but turned into the current 4-star rating just on the strength of the seller's stellar service ... and may climb higher yet.The battery itself: After a month or so it became clear there were issues with the new battery's capacity, which decreased with each recharge until it was substantially less than that of the original battery it had replaced. It seemed that either the new battery -- or perhaps my phone's power management system? -- was defective.Lemons turned to lemonade, however, when I contacted the seller: They replied almost instantly (to my first and all subsequent messages); they immediately offered a refund or replacement; and they got the replacement to me asap. Everything they do seems to be "right away" ... which speaks highly of their customer service.And the new (2nd) replacement battery? Time will tell. It arrived with an appropriate partial charge -- the ideal range for storage and shipping of Li ion batteries is said to be 30-70% of capacity -- and is currently charging at a rate that suggests (because it's not reaching 100% too quickly) that the battery has a much higher capacity than the previous one. If it functions as hoped, this review will get updated to 5 stars.Oh, and one more thing: The package includes not one but THREE high-quality screen protectors that fit the Samsung Galaxy S5 very well. The original battery of my S5 went loko, so I had to get a random cheap battery. It was very good for the price, and is still working good until now. However, after Google pay was launched this year and offered a promo of $10 credit in Play Store until August after using 5x, I just had to get the app and register my cards. I love the convenience it offers and I have faith in it's security measures. Unfortunately, after using it twice, it just wouldn't work. No short vibration indicating that it was somehow read, but just failed. I tried removing the case and the chip I've attached for it to be capable of wireless charging, to no avail. It wasn't until I stumbled upon an old forum with the same concerns that mentions anything about changing an NFC-enabled battery. It didn't even occured to me that it was the battery that was the culprit.Anyway, after I bought this, everything was perfect, and I already got my $10 -reward credit. It was an awesome bonus that it came with 3 screen protectors, and tempered glass to boot! It was perfect because I was pushing my luck by not having ascreenbprotector after my Otter Box died out on me.

Battery life is less than expected but at least my phone isn't shutting down or restarting like it did with the last replacements. Or, getting hot enough to disable features. Although, it was at 12% after sitting in my pocket while I watched NFL games and warned that the camera flash was disabled due to low battey when I took a shot of the flood pond on the lawn, afterwards. Camera worked fine.One difference with this battery is that it stops charging and displays a message to use the charger that came with the phone when I use my Bluetooth speaker charger in the garage. That's a first but I just pugged in the Samsung charger out there and it was fine.I believe it's time to retire my S5 if I can find a suitable replacement. I lost count of replacement batteries that ranged from already too old to just plain defective.This battery works but it should be noted that it's not going to make it through a day without charging. It's a good 5 hour battery. This review used 10% from fully charged.I went on to review another product and the phone restarted. Battery now at 83%.

After 5 Years, the original battery in my S5 no longer held a charge. I purchased a Samsung OEM replacement. However, that did not last long either- perhaps they stopped making them years ago and it was on the shelf for some time. So, I purchased this DAXTROMN replacement. It's been about a year now and still holds a charge pretty well.

I have a Galaxy S5, I like the way you can replace your battery (like every phone should be!!) Well finding authentic Samsung replacement batteries are getting harder to find therefore I go to aftermarket batteries. My experience with this battery is AMAZING! I've had ZERO issues with this battery at all! I've literally bought other batteries after this one (as back ups, since my charging port doesn't work) and I've found no other replacement that holds a charge as long as this one. I've had this battery for 6 months and it still holds a charge for about 3 hrs under EXTREME usage! I'm a deliver driver and I constantly have GPS....numerous apps and at night my screen light turned up....this one beats out the rest!! *On a side note: STAY AWAY FROM MAX BEAR BATTERY....IT'S GARBAGE!!

Worked amazingly well, lasted me years until I upgraded my Galaxy.

When my phone only worked while plugged in i knew it was a battery problem. Purchased this because of the great reviews. Holds a full battery ok. I use it from 7 am to about 7 or 8 pm then its done, it needs a charge. Seldom use. 8 hrs work so have it on vibrate and only text or browse 15 mins during my 2 breaks other than that just check the time or to see if a new message came in (maybe 2-5 come in during work hrs). End of shift use it for music, texting, or browsing for about 1 to 1.5 hrs.

I needed to replace the original battery on my Samsung Galaxy S5 because the battery charges were unpredictable, ie, dropping from an 80% charge to 2% for no apparent reason. The replacement batteries available were difficult to assess based on customer ratings. Some so called OEM batteries were described by some reviewers as fake or used batteries. All the available batteries had both very positive ratings and very negative ratings. I took a chance on the DAXTROOM battery. After 3 weeks, the battery has performed well . It seems to charge quicker than the original battery and maintains its charge significantly longer than the original .It may be too soon for such a positive review. If my experience changes over time, I will amend this review .
