Surprisingly high quality. I love this bag. It's got a bit of patina already. It appears to have a natural finish applied to it, just barely past the raw leather point. I'll definitely be putting a coat of something more on before I use it, but for the price and quality and style, I'm happy to do that. The leather has a scratch on the back, but I'm not bothered by it. It has a slightly rustic/rugged look, which I what I was after. If I'd bought a finely detailed bag, the first scratch could have ruined the bag's image. The existing scratch and future ones will add to this bag's existing character. I won't be surprised if it's barely noticeable after I put a coat of conditioner over it. By the way, I like that I get to choose natural conditioners from the start with this bag, rather than mixing my natural stuff with some caustic layers of something already on there.

I have only had about a week, I love the smell of the leather, it is slowly starting to break in and becoming softer, has lots of room and great look and I finally found a back that I can put over my shoulder cross way and not choke myself. I have had sever people at work comment on the color and look of it. Very simple and fashionable.... for it is a great bag for what I need.. I did spray with with water repellent, because I was not sure it was already sprayed, so not if is even more protected.. GREAT SHOULDER BAG for everything.

I haven't had this long enough to speak to its durability but the leather is lovely and the size is perfect for a laptop, iPad and a good bit of other 'stuff' you would carry in a messenger bag. The leather smell is quite strong for about a week and completely goes away after about two weeks. I love the feel and finish of the leather.My only modest complaint is that the magnetic closures cannot hold the flap closed. Under normal use, the top of the case bends just enough when carried over the shoulder where the closures don't line up and aren't strong enough to hold it closed for long if you force them closed.

Honestly, this bag surpassed my expectations for the price. It is nice, full grain leather with a soft suede interior. It feels expensive, even though it clearly isn't.If I have a criticism, it's that you can't fit much inside. I'm a lawyer, and can maybe fit a laptop, a few files, and that's it. There are no pockets for pens or chargers. But to be honest, I feel like I got a great value anyway.Edit: The leather smells a little funky. The seller says the smell will subside, but I'm a week in and can smell it throughout my office still.Edit 2: This is a very responsive seller who is committed to positive customer experience. They responded to me individually after hearing my criticisms and offered to make it right. Definitely recommend this bag and this seller.

The magnetic snaps that hold this shut are really fussy and you have to basically eyeball each one to get them to both hold. There’s no handle just a long strap. For a small bit of files to take somewhere, it’s leather and it’s pretty lightweight for leather. You kind of get what you pay for but it’s decent. It would’ve been a lot better if they hadn’t used such cheap fasteners. UPDATE. May return because the magnetic closures are becoming really irritating.

Quality made leather case at a very reasonable price. Looks good. Easy access to interior paperwork or whatever you need to access. I like the comfortable strap with the adjustment buckle down low by the bag rather than up near your shoulder like some other bags on the market that are uncomfortable to carry. I am very pleased and glad I made the purchase. Oh BTW on the back side is a zippered compartment that doesn’t show on the pictures which I really like. The only thing that would make this bag better would be a handle on the top.

I have been looking for a real leather computer bag for a while. Every decent one I found in stores was $600+. I was about to pull the trigger, but then came across this bag (priced much better) and decided it was worth ordering in hopes of the quality actually being as good as it looked in the photos. When I received my bag - I could not believe how nice it was!!! Incredible quality!!! The smell of real raw leather can’t be beat. Durable and stylish. I don’t write many product reviews on Amazon, but felt like I had to for this product! AMAZING!

I like this bag a lot. Although there’s not a lot of room for a lot of books, it contains enough room to keep from overloading with too many books. The one drawback—hence 4 stars—is the metal attachment for the flap presupposes the the bag will always be filled with books. It needs a second magnetized snap to secure the flap. It’s an irritant but not a reason not to buy the bag.
