WICKMAN Candle Accessory Gift Pack - Set of 3 - Wick Trimmer, Wick Dipper & Bell Snuffer

This set of Wickman candle accessories is perfect. My dear husband bought this set to go with the candle and elegant striker he got me/us for Christmas. It elevates lighting and caring for candles to the next level. During our extra time at home during Covid, it has been a lovely elevation of an ordinary pleasure. I especially like the tool that lays the wick into and then back up from the melted wax to put out the flame without smoke. When the wax cools, then the wick trimmer easily removes the burned part of the wick as you prepare it for the next burning. Lovely gift to have received and to use.

I bought this set for myself because I burn a lot of candles, but the smoke really bothers me. I have used the bell snuffer to put out lit candles, and the wick trimmer to trim a candle wick. These tools are good quality and they work as expected. I have actually cleaned wax and soot off of the bell snuffer a few times with soap and water, and it doesn't rust, corrode, etc. I highly recommend this set if you are looking for something like this, and it's a great gift for someone who uses candles!

These tools work as one would expect. The candle snuffer has a superior design with the snuff bell usable at various angles, unlike most of the other products in the market. Snuffing candles is a far superior method of putting out the flame compared to any other method (take a minute to research this online). Trimming the candle wick to a proper length makes the candle work properly and extends its life. Having a tool in the set which allows you to fish the wick out of the molten candle wax, when necessary, can certainly be done with a variety of other household objects, however, its a nice touch to have a tool in the set for this purpose. Very nice tool set, a bit too pricey in my opinion, thus the loss of a star.

Love the snuffer with the movable bell to really get down to the bottom of large jar candles. Love the dipper as now my knives no longer have to get wax on them. Unfortunately the wick cutter is not as good as another that I have tried. When you cut the wick, no matter how slowly you do it, the piece does not stay on the small platform for easy removal. It goes flying into the candle, which is what my scissors did. I know other wick cutters do not do this, as I have owned one before. Oh well, just gotta tip the jar upside down to get the wick piece out. Not the end of the world I guess.

bought 2 of these sets as Christmas presents ..both people loved them & said they were perfect gifts! since they burn candles all the time! .. neither of them knew there was such a thing .. always became frustrated with the wicks falling into the candles & not able to pull them out! .. smoke & terrible smell going into the air when blowing them out!.. and burnt wicks floating in the candle! .. this set of tools solved all the problems! ..1)cut the burnt wick off before lighting the candle with the scissors 2)snuff the candle out with the snuffer leaving no smoke or bad odor, 3)pull the wick out of the melted wax so it will be ready for lighting next time with the dipper! .. no more issues! .. just enjoy the nice aroma of your favorite candles! ...

I was looking for a wick trimmer when I came across this set. Not only is it very pretty (which is nice considering the tools will spend a lot of time sitting out on my coffee table), but also very practical. I didn't know I needed a wick dipper before finding this, but it is now my preferred way to snuff out candles - no worry about accidentally spraying melted wax. Also, it's very useful for rescuing a submerged or misaligned wick from a larger, deeper candle. I don't use tapered candles very often, but it is nice to now have a proper snuffer on hand.

Nice set for putting out candles and candle maintenance. I had not had a candle snuffer before, and this one is flexible on the end - it seems to make it a little more difficult to get it over the candle to get it put out. If I buy another, I'll look for one that is stationery. The set is made of a good quality metal, looks nice, and is heavy enough to do what it is designed to do without bending or otherwise not working properly.

Very dusty. Disheartening to see as it was a gift. Spent 20 minutes cleaning the box before I could give it away
