Beautiful rifle at great price
Good looking air rifle. Got a 125 sniper in 25 and its a little difficult to shoot well. The sniper is also huge. I thought of a 25 pcp but didn’t want to spend the $. Saw a review on this rifle and looked on Amazon. Price was excellent. Ordered and received in a day. Like any springer or gas piston it needs to be shot a couple hundred times to settle down. Shooting at 21 feet im now shooting nickle size groups offhand. Was a little concerned at first. Rifle was all over the place with stock scope. I put a Hammers 3x9 x40 on and it solved that problem. When the weather gets good i intend to really break it in and increase the range. Should make a wonderful 25 yard pest gun. At this price you can’t go wrong. Stick with pellets in the lighter range to keep velocity up. Edit. 04/11/23. I just removed the rifle from storage. Gas piston has failed. This is not a cheap fix. Probably cost as much as I paid originally for this rifle. Prior to this purchase I had bought a 135qe in .30. That vortex piston failed immediately. I was stubborn and bought a pump and probe. Recharged it every month or so. Hatsan has big problems with their gas piston. It’s air charged not permanent sealed nitro like others. Avoid vortex models and buy the spring version. Conversation to spring is almost impossible since Hatsan won’t sell parts in the US. Conversation requires a longer breech plug. The vortex piston occupies a third of that space. I bought the breech piece from a guy in Russia. Took 6 months. Cheap enough but he only had the 135 variants. I have not converted the 135 to spring yet. I purchased a gas piston from company in Australia. It’s been fine 2 years now. If that fails I’m using a spring. I’m prone to disassemble my air guns and replace seals etc. especially fond of a Ruger air Hawk(177) and the original Impact (22). RWS 34 clones. Good triggers. All RWS piston seals and springs fit. Can fix those without issue. I’m actually disappointed Hatsan has not addressed this the issue been a problem for years.

Great Air Rifle!!!!!!
Waited about 5 months to write this review so I could break in the rifle. I've been shooting air rifles since I was 8yrs old(1970) and owned .177 and .22 cal rifles and pistols for that matter. This .25 cal rifle hits like a freight train and is very accurate for what I needed (control the racoons on my property) drops them like a lead balloon. Very happy with purchase!!!

Hatsan 95 SAS 25 air gun will let you down.
Beautiful gun, terrible accuracy. If you want to hang it on the wall, but it. If you actually want to target shoot or hunt, get something else. I’m not a negative review person, but this thing sprays lead everywhere. I have bought Walmart cheap air rifles that perform 10x better. For something that costs as much as a regular .22 firearm, this Hatsan .25 mod 95 SAS should perform much better. We’re looking for a head shot on rabbit size game or squirrel, not a 6” pie plate. My shot group was at 15 yards, held steady with Benjamin dome pellets. I’m disappointed to say the least. I don’t work for a competitor. I’m just a regular guy taking a risk on a brand I’ve never bought for a price I’ve never risked. Bad choice on my part. I’ve selected to return this the day after I got it. Now it’s back to the drawing board.

Great small game air rifle!
Overall, I am very impressed with this air rifle. Especially given the price point! The trigger is quite nice- it is a little heavy for my taste, but it is crisp and very consistent. Definitely the best trigger I have felt on a break barrel in this price range, and better than many I’ve felt at 3x this price. This rifle feels good in the hand and balances/points well. I mounted a UTG fixed 4x on it and this seems to be a great fit for close quarters small game hunting. The scope that comes with the rifle is perfect for a casual use .22LR, but it is not airgun rated and the parallax is set to 100 yards so I didn’t even mount it on this rifle. Mine is extremely accurate with JSB Kings...with a CLEAN barrel. We’re talking 5 pellets in the same exact hole at 10 yards. Impressive! But in order to maintain this level of accuracy, the barrel on my rifle needs to be cleaned every 75-100 shots or so. Shoot any more than that and the accuracy starts to degrade quickly. I use a Patch Worm kit and their patches. About 12 pulls or so and it’s back to normal. I’m hoping this frequency of cleaning will be reduced after the rifle sees a substantial amount of use. Surprisingly I did not find a single H&N pellet that it liked. Matter of fact it hated almost all of them, producing 1-2” groups at 10 yards. The rear sight on my rifle arrived broken. I emailed Hatsan USA directly and promptly responded and sent me a new sight. No hassle, no questions asked. Sent them a copy of my Amazon invoice and my address, that was it. I was impressed with that level of customer service, and it gives me confidence that they stand behind their product. This is my first Hatsan air rifle, but I will most likely be adding more to my collection!UPDATE 3/1/20: After shooting this rifle a bunch more, the barrel has settled down and requires less frequent cleaning now. Accuracy is excellent out to 35 yards. A head shot on a squirrel at that range is no problem at all if the shooter is capable. Just out of curiosity, we set an acorn squash on its side and shot it at 30 yards. I hit the bottom square in the center, and the pellet went all the way through the squash and came right out the top by the stem. Impressive power and penetration. This really is a great small game air rifle in .25 cal once you find out which pellet it likes. Again, this one likes JSB Kings and Air Arms 25.4 (virtually the same pellet).

Worth every cent
Awesome. 100 shots to break in accuracy is awesome and the power is great totally impressed with this rifle. Get a Airgun quality scope for it it will destroy all others I put a UTG on it and at 15 yards it’s a tack driver. Check screws every now and again you may need to lock tight them
