Founders The story of KOMONO is a story of two friends who met snowboarding on a mountain and decided to do things differently. Raf Maes, the perfectionist, cultivated an obsession with design and architecture from an early age and can still be found snapping photos in any remote corner of the globe or happily sipping a gin & tonic listening to Frank Sinatra and the Beastie Boys. Nice minimalistic watch
After wearing this watch for a week, I must say that I like it. It appears to be quality made. I find the strap to be comfortable. The watch does not give off the vibe of a flashy watch, but instead gives off a more mellow vibe. The gold case matches the gold buckle and wood face does not appear overly fake or cheap. The black hands do not pop off the face like the golden seconds hand or the golden "komono" writing, but they are still noticeable enough to read.

I got it and hated this watch right away since my style is small and more elegant but for the price I didn't expect to get that of course.After a week of wearing it I start loving the watch, even more when I put it to test. took it to work and decided to do some hard work, hit it with metal stuff so many times and still there is no scratch on the glass. can't really complaint about this watch, if it was smaller or thinner I would say than it would be close to perfect.

pretty watch, decent workmanship
beautiful looking watch of OK workmanship, so 4 stars. Subtracted 1 star for it's durability, as I bought this watch at the beginning of December 2014 and the watch strap broke in early March 2015 - with minimal wear (less than 15 wears for sure)! Customer service was good, initially giving me a bit of a hard time in getting a new strap, but I am still waiting for it in the mail. It really is a pretty watch, wood facade doesn't look ENTIRELY real, but you can only expect so much for $100.

Good watch for a decent price!
Komono's Winston is very easy on the eyes to say the least. Only having worn it for a few days, the amount of positive compliments from friends and strangers has been in the larger quantity! The watch doesn't feel as though it will last quite as long as other similar style, leather-band watches I've owned, but for under $100 it's hard to complain. I'll definitely be purchasing another Komono soon.

Great looking watch
I got this for $72 when it was on sale. It was definitely worth the price. It is a great looking minimalist watch, and as expected with quartz is very accurate. The band is actually even nicer than I expected and very soft and comfortable right out of the box. The "wood" dial is very convincing looking, and doesn't look cheap at all. I also really like the crown placement and the Komono logo of the watch. I received a number of compliments within the first few time is wore it. I would definitely recommend this watch.

Perfect item imperfect price.
It came in perfect condition and thought it was beautiful. Only complaint is that I didn't realize it was converted to US dollars. So at check out it said my total was $106 but on my visa statement I in fact paid $150. That was way over my budget.

The watch looks nice, but the protecting plastic at the back was melted... which makes the surface becomes quite sticky. spent some time to remove it.

Great looking watch, tough to tell time
Got it as a gift for a friend who loves it. Sharp looking watch although the wood background is much darker than shown in the picture and the numbers are hard to see. Should have gold numbers.

Genau wie erwartet
Ich habe mir diese Uhr ausgesucht weil ich mal etwas Abwechslung beim Tragen brauche und immer 200 Euro+ für eine Uhr auszugeben kam für mich nicht in Frage. Ich kann diese Uhr für jeden empfehlen, der etwas elegantes dennoch preisgünstiges sucht. Die Uhr wirkt auf den ersten Blick stabil und auch hochwertig. Bei genauerem hinsehen merkt man aber schon den Unterschied zwischen 200Euro+ und dieser Uhr. Dennoch bin ich vollkommen zufrieden und trage diese Uhr auch wirklich gerne.2 Kleinigkeiten hätten aber besser sein können. 1.keine schwarzen Zeiger. Man sieht sie recht schlecht auf dem Ziffernblatt und2.das Ziffernblatt hätte ruhig etwas matter sein können, denn so schaut es bei genauerem hinsehen schon sehr plastisch aus. Deswegen 4 statt 5 Sterne.

Surpris de la vitesse de livraison, j'ai retrouver un produit correspondant exactement a la photo, pas de couleur différente plus ou moins changeante, un bracelet très robuste, un cadran ni trop grand ni trop petit très bien pour les poignets d'hommes et surtout! surtout! pour un mec pas soigneux comme moi, un cadran très résistant et qui ne s'abime pas au moindre frottement contre une paroi, des clés etc... Bref je regrette franchement pas de l'avoir acheter, elle vaut son prix, et surtout qu'elle est super classe! Voila j’espère que ce commentaire vous sera utile dans vos achats :)

Unzufrieden
Guten Tag,also als ich die Uhr das erste Mal gesehen habe dachte ich mir WOW die sieht echt schick aus.Jetzt, da die Uhr angekommen ist bin ich echt unzufrieden.1. Das Ziffernblatt ist nicht wie auf dem Bild dunkelrot sondern wirklich fast dunkel Braun, das bedeutet es wird noch schwieriger die Uhrzeit zu erkennen.2. Das scheint aus Plastik zu sein was ich persönlich nicht so schön finde wie Metall.3. Ich weiß ich wiederhole mich aber das ZIFFERNBLATT IST NICHT DUNKELROT und das war der GRUND warum ich sie mir holen wollte.Also an alle die genau diese Uhr haben wollen die auch so aussieht HIER SEID IHR FALSCH !!MfG enttäuschter Käufer
