I'm a very picky buyer. I needed a color printer that wouldn't gobble up ink or toner with every job. I wanted something that I could afford, that held up to the amount of printing I needed to do per month. I actually got pretty much what I needed with the printer here. It's a refurbished color laser printer, about 12 years old and much cheaper than what the new one would have cost.First, I ordered the printer and it came within 10 days. When I opened it, however, it was completely crushed on the top and unusable. I refused the delivery and sent a nasty note to the company selling it. They immediately contacted me, apologized for the issue and offered an upgraded printer (same model, but less pages printed and more features) to replace the one I had received damaged. Good. The printer came within a week. The shipping company helped me unpack it to inspect and put the base on the unit. It looked ok, so I signed and he left. The 2nd tray was out and when I tried to push it in, it wouldn't go. I sent a nasty note to the company and they got back to me right away. It looked like shipping had damaged the tray. Part of it had been pushed against a moving part and subsequently, it wouldn't work. The company called me to help me fix the problem. They offered me a new tray, but it was unnecessary because we were able to snap the plastic back.I got it set up initialized,, and printed a copy in color. I came out bright and beautiful.I like this printer a lot. I've had trouble setting up postscript printing and there were some issues getting it to duplex. Other than that, it works great.Honestly, the company is pretty good. They are not great about answering emails, but they do stand behind their equipment and do resolve issues as quickly as possible.
