So far it has installed and function properly. I'll see in the morning how it acts on the water which is where it matters most. If I don't add anything to this, this is a great product.To the folks saying it's made from "cheap material" well open up a shop and make something better. Oh that's right you had to buy a bracket like me thus your fabrication ideas don't count. Lol

This worked perfectly to mount my trolling motor to the bow of my v hull boat.

good idea but material its made of is to week shaft slips in the notches stock bracket is much tougher

Great idea for Jon boat bow but the material doesn’t hold up well. Got about almost a year out of it before it cracked in half.

If you are having a problem with your motor staying in tilt position 1 and 2 or completely horizontal and one click down from horizontal I apologize. The molder has had an issue with plastic blow-by and it created a thin film over the slots that allow your motor to stay in the tilt position. Please see attache photos for location of this film.To fix, you can push the blade of a flat screw drive through the film and pull off the excess with a pair of needle nose pliers.I apologize for this inconvenience.Mike RhodesRM Industries, Inc.
