What if I want the exercise, and decide to cut a large lawn? No problem right?

I don't know. You do have to clear grass out of the reel sometimes, especially if the grass is long and thick.

How long do the blades go between sharpening? Do you use a sharpening stone?

Haven't sharpened it yet. The Sun mower replaced my old push mower just last summer.
