My husband and son love this shampoo. It's great for when they've been outside all day, or just need a little extra clean. It smells great, too.I just wish it was easier to order, and not constantly out of stock!

Most shampoos make my head itch. I don’t have dandruff but somehow react to something in most shampoos. Even those without the usual ‘problem’ ingredients are still a problem for me. So far this shampoo doesn’t make my head itch, which is a relief.

Here's the thing...I don't know about you but I use so many different styling products to achieve the exact look I'm after with my hair. These styling products and conditioners can build up with sebum on the scalp even trapping external follicle destroying DHT contributing to hair loss and thinning. So for the health of my hair and scalp, I use this charcoal detoxifying shampoo once or twice a week to thoroughly and gently cleanse my scalp and hair. (I use other shampoos for my daily hair wash.) It is color-safe. It has no discernible fragrance and is very pleasant to use. Most importantly it does a super job cleansing all the goop out of my hair which prevents the aforementioned build-up on the scalp and the build-up on the hair that causes your hair to have a dull appearance. I have very shiny golden natural wavy/curly hair. Once again, because my hair is wavy/curly I have to condition it to encourage the curls to form without frizz or...apply specific product if I want to wear my hair in a straight style. I notice my products work so much better on freshly detoxed hair. Charcoal seems to be in everything nowadays and you know there is a good reason for this. It is gentle and effective. Toxins and impurities readily bind to charcoal. They give it to patients to swallow in some poisoning situations for this exact same reason...charcoal binds to the offending ingredient in the gut and is quickly eliminated. I personally truly love this product!!!

Best shampoo best brand ever use

I had high hopes for this shampoo given its premium ingredients and nourishing claims, but unfortunately, it didn’t work for my hair type. The formula felt quite watery, requiring multiple washes to get a proper lather. Despite this, it still left my hair feeling unclean and weighed down rather than refreshed. The fragrance, while unique, was overpowering and lingered longer than I preferred.If you have blonde, straight, or oily hair, this might not be the best choice, as it seemed to add heaviness rather than cleanse effectively. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t repurchase.

Great scent, doesn't dry my skin, feels luxurious

Update: the company inspires me to try another formulation by contacting me to give me a full refund. I really like that! Though this one doesn’t suit, I’ll try another.I’d hoped this would be like the Theorie shampoo I’d used at a client’s home. I couldn’t remember which one it was. I’d say this charcoal might be good once a month as the first time I used it- it lathered well and cleaned and softened my hair. Repeated use is disappointing.
