Titanium eBay:: A Tactical Guide to Becoming a Millionaire PowerSeller
This is no doubt a five-star book for anyone who is ready to drop everything and start a full-time eBay business. I gave it four only because I was disappointed that it went straight into how you need to rent some commercial space, get together some pretty intense accounting software and learn to use it well -- or hire an accountant, and so on. It's all very intimidating. My wife and I have been doing eBay for years as a part-time venture and we seek an income-producing retirement business. Something more dedicated and committed than what we have been doing, but certainly not as intense as this book prompts. The book is absolutely thorough and I recommend it for anyone who wants to do eBay as their full-time business. What we did get from the book is that we had some misconceptions about how things work in the eBay world. They are mainly because we've been doing eBay for many years and were still entrenched in the ways of the past and our involvement was light-weight enough that we failed to notice how the whole online auction scene has evolved. The author does a great service in revealing how it is no longer feasible to limit your sales to eBay, but rather you must use eBay as a pointing tool to direct your customers to your only store or other online sales venues. eBay has changed their policies and their charges over the years so that it is no longer profitable to do business as we have always done it, especially on a big scale. If you're contemplating a fairly serious commitment to online auction sales, this is a good read even if you pick through it for just what applies to your interests.

A "Must-Have" book for anyone serious about eBay Selling!!
I've read many books on eBay selling and subscribe to most of the newsletters. Some books are full of straight-up nonsense, or good for a specific aspect of eBay, or just a marketing scheme for you to buy yet more books (or services) by the author. Skip McGrath's book is different; it is by far the most comprehensive book I have read about REALLY selling on eBay. We're talking jaw-dropping ideas here. Just about every aspect of eBay selling is covered in this 540+ page book. It seems like he's seen (and probably done) it all. He has the skinny on the best picture taking techniques, specific wording for dealing with dead-beat, non-paying bidders so you get your listing fees back asap, etc. He really covers it all!!! Okay, stop reading, buy this book, read it, and come back here and tell me how right I am!!!

Smelling the millions coming in through my door...
...and some more headaches lol, but this book is really awesome. I was doing ok on ebay...as a second job and I was enjoying it a lot, but now, after I red this book I really feel confident I can quit my job and start the business full time. This book is a must for whoever wants to grow big on ebay and make a serious living out of it (and I'm not talking about making $3000 a month...). The automated procedures section was eyeopening...I have so many new ideas now on how to increase sales. Written with a great sense of order, procedures and rationality. You can only grow if you follow a discipline and this book will tell you exactly what to do (and not to do) and how to do it. Great job!

This Book is Old
Don't buy in 2013. Outdated is it should be as it was written years ago. Sorry for the low rating, but a lot has already changed making this useless.

Good but not great
very good information, if you are already well to do. Not the best book to take you from point a to z... more like s to z.

EXCELLENT EBAY SELLER RESOURCE!!!
I am glad I purchased this book. I am a relatively new seller to ebay and I am trying to get into this business on a serious level. I have learned so much from just reading 3 or 4 chapters of this book! I can't wait until I finish it. I truly believe this book can take ANY ebay business to a Titanium Seller level it's just a matter of reading the books and applying the principles. I highly recommend this book to EVERYONE considering an ebay business!

This book not completely relevant any longer....
I purchased this book in an effort to hone my EBAY skills. I have dabbled in EBAY over the years, however, decided to direct more attention to it recently. This book is spoken from the perspective of an EBAY millionaire. A person with feedbacks in the 10's of thousands if not 100's. Much of what is reviewed in this book is not going to help the average person with much less experience selling. EBAY has changed a great deal in the last few years. If you are not certain about that, check it out for yourself. The site is dominated by ultra large stores that process thousands of items per day. Many of those stores are based in China and overseas in general. Consequently those stores get preferential treatment in listing ranking, leaving the smaller store owner in the weeds. Some of the Chinese companies are selling items for less than one DOLLAR that should cost much more. The difference is that they are getting those items at the source and consequently can AFFORD to sell them at that price. And because they sell for a buck what I would need to sell for $10, they sell thousands per month and make a tidy profit.Bottom line..... Decent book, some relevant information. Not written for "todays" EBAY. Would I purchase it over again given the chance? No.
