Good so far
I've had these for roughly two or three months and have taken them on only one extended backpacking trip. I'm still breaking them in but they're still fairly comfortable and very sturdy. I hiked extensively in the rain during my backpacking trip and felt the held up to moisture quite well considering I hadn't yet treated them with any leather conditioner. I can only imagine that these will be exceptionally comfortable and reliable for many years.

Good but expensive
For reference I also have Lowa's Renegade, which I completely recommend. These are heavy duty hiking boots. They are very well made, but what is interesting is sizing. These fit as stated, which is different than the renegade which are small and had to order .5 bigger. One thing, my order was a slightly used pair, which Amazon helped me with, but I was surprised the leather liner was NOT as nice as the Renegade despite being more costly. I got these boots for wildland fire fighting, I will repost in a few months and let you know how they hold up for that. These boots are heavy, they are not for running, light hiking etc. Still better than most boots.

Not the fit I wanted
Hard to tell online, so it's hit or miss. I have a 6" boot but need taller for wildland fire. 10.5 is big, but I'll have to add an insole and try to wet & shrink to fit.

Happy with purchase
I purchased these boots after some research and reading multiple reviews. The price was right and the size was right on with my current boot size. I wear these boots with Wigwam comfort hiker socks. Treated the boots with Obenauf's combo pack products and they have become even more comfortable. They have been to 4 prescribed fires and 3 wildfires since purchase. They have been completely soaked over the top of the boot and dried easily in my garage in about a day. I would recommend these boots to anyone who is looking for an alternative to the classic wildland boot. Will see how they hold up through wildfire season during the summer and will post an update.

Amazon blows
I ordered these boots in my size, which these are true to size, you should order a half size larger. they look like well built boots, comfortable, and stiff, and I will definitely buy a pair, but never again from Amazon. my one star rating is my rating for amazon, not the boots themselves. I bought these on sale, wanted to exchange them for a bigger size, and they would not honor the original price I paid. Do yourself a favor and buy these from a store that knows what customer service means

Lowa Baffin Pro Boots
The Lowas replaced my Raichle Mt. Trekker boots after 10 years. I live in Arizona. The quality of the Lowas is impressive. I selected this model based the repairs that I made to my old boots -- this pair of Lowas seems to address all of them. The boot seems lightweight, when considering the level of ankle support and durability of the sole.
