This is a STANDOUT vanilla. Notes: 10/10 perfectly warm but not too sweet, resinous/smokyish/spicy to give some interest it is blended BEAUTIFULLY. It’s a perfect vanilla for layering or on its own. I am addicted to smelling it and find myself smelling my wrists and getting whiffs of it all day long. Absolutely will be trying more scents from Cyklar.

It’s nice, it’s a cleaner, fruitier patchouli. If you don’t typically like patchouli, you might like this. It’s very vanilla forward, and at first that is all you smell, but dries down to what it actually smells like. I also have the Sacred Santal scent and that one is straight up vanilla, even on the dry down. It’s also super subtle and disappears after like 30 minutes of wear on me. There is no typical santal scent to that one at all. It’s like a creamy, ever so slightly woody vanilla. I like this one (Modern Patchouli) more.

Smells amazing! Just wish the bottle was bigger

This is a musk oil. Trying to recreate my teen years when everyone wore Jovan musk oil. I saw this and nostalgia got me. Purchased hoping for that same feel. Disappointment set in when initially used it. First the little roller ball in mine wasstuck. I rubbed it around a few times then it fell out. No worries, I could now get the oil out. Pulse points here we come. Smells good. Thought yes this will do. 30 minutes later no smell hmmm! Reapplied asked my hubby how I smelled. He likes it! Great!!! 30 minutes later asked him if it still smelled good, he asked me if I have washed it off. Ugh! Never have I used a perfume oil that fades as fast. Disappointed with the waste of money because I suck at returning things to amazon. Moral of the story; do not chase your teen years!!!

A soft yet sweet musk that makes your pheromones alert

I really love the packaging on this body oil—it’s sleek, upscale, and perfect for tossing into a clutch or travel bag. Aesthetically, it absolutely delivers. The scent itself is beautiful and works well for layering, which is a plus.That said, the projection is pretty minimal and it doesn’t last very long on the skin, which is disappointing for a perfume oil. If it had stronger sillage or better longevity, the size and price wouldn’t be an issue. But as it stands, it feels a bit overpriced for what you get in terms of performance. For those reasons, I probably wouldn’t repurchase, though I will enjoy using it while it lasts.

A lovely fragrance

I hated the smell. I wouldn’t buy this again. I am not sure why anyone would recommend it to be honest. It is a super tiny bottle.
