I wish PH meters in this style routinely worked as well as this TDS meter. This TDS meter has not given me any issues at all. Every single time I've taken the cap of, it works, and I've had it for months.I purchased this for gardening to measure nutrients ppm's and decided to give it a try on a PUR filter ...which I returned shortly after. I tested the water of a brand new PUR water filter before and after and there was very little difference in tap water before and after being filtered.Very useful and fun to geek out with.Good luck!

This meter seems to be fairly accurate. I have used it to measure TDS for our tap water on a few different occasions and it remains consistent. I used it to measure the TDS of my coffee and it was quite high. I bought this to try to evaluate the quality of our tap water before I realized that TDS is not a very good measure for that purpose.

The Model I received is completely different than the one listed above. No manual. My orchids roots are burned because of the readings I got from this Sonkir tester TDS/EC/TEMP Meter. Never ever will buy anything from this brand.

I like this product because it actually worked and told me if the water was good or not. It was very easy to use. It is very convenient because you can tell which water is drinkable and which one is not.

Product works great. Packaging was less then stellar. No air bubble wrapping, was in a box easily 10X TO BIG. Product packaging was already damaged/opened.EDIT: Sonkir took full responsibility for packaging damages. Sent 2nd meter, and was in perfect condition. Couldn’t be happier.
