Coverage to consider
Bought it on the premise of “extra durability”. Time will only tell if it lives up to the expectation.Two things to consider. I used it on a shed which was painted three years ago. As “sadoline” has volatile components it’s easily and readily absorbed by the wood (especially old and dry). With 5 l I could only manage to cover 10 m2 with one and a half layer. So my experience of coverage is 3m2 per one litre.Number two - keeping the lid open , the paint become very thick after three hours at 5C ambient temperature- so be aware. For my 2m wide and 4 m long and 2m high shed I need 15-20 litres , excluding the roof with two layers.

One coat did it. Great product.
Tried to get the product locally from a DIY superstore. I'm not sure they had any sizes in Redwood. Much more expensive to buy it in small cans. They did have 2.5 litre cans but not in the right colour. In fact it would have been £80 to £100 to buy 5 litres in smaller cans. Got 5 litres from Amazon for £77.59, next free day delivery as over £40. Very satisfied.

Disliked the price but it looks like its worth it it has an amazing finish.

Works well looks awful.
Purchased 10 litres of Sadolin Classic / extra. Made a terrible mess of my cabin. Now trying to strip it off.Very waterproof looks awful.

Shed covering
This is expensive protection but I can say it is money well spent. I recover every three years after first use
