Garden Market Place Weathervanes - Steel Cockeral Weathervane with Ground Spike and Wall Bracket

It was delivered very promptly, easy to assemble and looks impressive attached by the wall bracket to the top of my garden shed. It replaced one I had for years that was more sturdy but was badly rusted. This one is made of lighter metal so time will tell how long it will last but I am pleased with my purchase

For garden interest looks good and easy to assemble. I used the bracket to fix it to a garden structure. Perfect

Good product, but replaced the wall mount that it came with with a more robust one. The one it came with was very flimsy and would not have lasted very long

A lovely design but sadly this is very flimsy and nothing sits right. Everything is bent out of shape and I wouldn't advise trying to bend things back into shape as I have just tried to do that with a badly angled wind cup and it's broken off! Own fault I guess as the light soldering won't stand up to much messing about.I'm coming to the end of a major gardening landscaping project at my home and this was to be one of my finishing touches.Fortunately the builders skip is still here and that is where it's ended up. My search continues. Want same design just a better construction. Don't be swayed by the price it's very much a case of you get what you pay for.Look to pay around the £60-80 mark to get something that will last for years. I'm now re- focusing on one at that price I've seen at my local garden centre.If fact now that I've an idea of what one is going to look like ( I said the design was good) I'm jumping in the car to get it!

First one arrived with main mounting shaft end section broken off.They sent a replacement shaft no problem but that shaft was bent so weather vaneStuck in one position. Tried to straighten shaft and end piece broke off.Going to have to get it repaired/welded back on to make it useable.All the rest you get the quality you pay for, not superb but ok, but main shaft is poor quality and fragileProbably wouldn't stand up to harsh weather.

Product looks fine and does the job but is very flimsy and scratches easily when putting together. We put the stand inside another metal pole to support it as we have mounted it in the ground.

This was better quality than I was expecting after reading some of the other reviews.

The Vane was exactly what I wanted.. It is black and I painted the wind sockets and arrows white so I could see them against the tree background at the bottom of garden. Very good communications with seller when I requested some additional spare parts which I required to move the vane from different locations.
