VideoSecu MP830B Heavy- Full Articulating Wall Mount For Big Screen TV
Excellent TV mount and ideal for mounting 75" Sony XBR TV weighing almost 100 pounds. I researched many mounts but purchased this mount due to steel construction, versatility and ease of installation. Professional installers liked this mount too. The base measures 22 7/8" W x 10 1/4" HHelpful hint for mounting base on wall - The center of the TV screen is approximately 6" above the center line of the mounting base on wall. Our screen measured 37.5" H. This is a helpful guideline to estimate the height of the TV screen from the floor surface after it is attached onto the mount.Note: The base mount holes will fit wall studs either 16" or 20" on center. The mount was packaged very well and Amazon delivered without any problem.

Great TV Rack
This is a really cool, heavy duty TV rack. I have a heavy TV and it fit perfectly. The instructions are ok, but it's really really easy to assemble. This unit was a little more expensive than the others that I looked at. I could have gone with a less expensive unit but my TV is worth a good TV mount. I did not want to go inexpensive and be sorry when my TV mount did not work well. I highly recommend this unit!

Worth The Price - Heavy-Duty Quality
I almost returned this before installing it, because I later saw other comparable less expensive units. When I went and looked at those, including one at Costco, they all were not nearly as well built and sturdy as this one, so I kept this one. I just installed this one and man it is a solid articulating tv mount. I've had the less expensive one in the past and my 47" tv would not hold straight even though I leveled everything at installation. This one is holding my 75" Samsung LED TV like I would expect, in all positions. It pulls out really far too. It is strong and my tv retains the levelness that I expect. If you're hesitating because of the higher price, you should consider spending a little more and get this one. It's worth it and you'll be happy you did in the long run.

Mount for an 85" TV.
Used this to mount my Sony 85" X900F. This mount is Chinese-made and sells under several different brands. The adjustments are a little old-school ( bolt & hex nut vs. levers ) but it is much more stable than the Peerless I bought at triple the price. It took a little more time to drop the TV onto the mount bars since they have to be done at the same time instead of setting the top part in and lowering the TV into the bottom bar like most other mounts. The TV slides left/right on the bars too easily, so I put rubber stoppers on the bar to keep the TV from moving when I retract it from the wall. I mounted the TV perfectly level, so I didn't have to do any roll adjustments but adjusting it would be difficult with a large TV mounted.

Works great for 75" Samsung
Very sturdy and adjustable. Holding up our 75" Samsung. The height adjustment is a little difficult to fix if you mis-measure (or the wife wants it moved) after putting the hangers on the tv and mounting it on the actual mount. You have to take the tv down, move the hangers, and then remount. With our tv, it takes two people on ladders to move it. Other than that, it's a great mount and have had no issues.

Strong mount with very useful swivel.
This thing is a beast. Holds my 99 lbs. 80" TV like it's nothing. The swivel is invaluable when it comes to having to add or adjust anything I have plugged into the rear (we don't really use it to watch from different angles as it's mounted precisely where I want it).My only small gripe was that a portion of it was already put together but not in a real useful order. It made finding a small plastic washer impossible so I improvised using one of my own washers only to find the plastic washer that came with it after my install was complete. Not a real problem (certainly not enough to remove a star) as I've hung many TV's and it was easily rectified by grabbing my own washer.

Good, heavy duty mount for big TVs. Needed extra hardware if studs not 16 on center.
Do you need a mount this big and strong? Probably not, unless your TV is enormous, or it is an older plasma TV that is much heavier than a new TV. This thing is for the biggest and heaviest TVs out there, with a maximum load rating of 176 pounds. This mount turned out to be slight overkill even for my 85" Sony X900F, which tips the scales at a relatively light 102 lbs.On the other hand, a mount is important, you do not want your TV coming off the wall, so a little bit of extra margin of safety is not the end of the world. And this thing definitely provides that. It is beast of a thing, all steel, arriving in a big heavy box that would be difficult for a smaller person to even manhandle into the house. If you basically already know what you are doing, the instructions they provide are reasonably clear.I attached it as follows: 2 of the big bolts they give you went directly into one stud (pre-drilling carefully). I then used drywall anchors (provided) and the two other big bolts to anchor the second set of bolts into the drywall. That was how I had to install it because there was not another stud exactly 16 on center in my wall. You might encounter this situation, you might not. But if you do, expect that you will need to do a little extra work. Honestly, I didn't like the drywall anchors they provided, they looked pretty marginal to me. They showed in the directions that you could theoretically attach the thing using nothing but 4 drywall anchors and no studs, but I would definitely not recommend that. With the mount only strongly secured to a single stud in my wall, I decided to sink another 4, heavy duty drywall anchors and screws, each rated at 75 lbs, at various points around the mount to further bolster the drywall anchors and bolts they provided. So I ended up with 6 drywall anchors in total, plus the two big bolts into the wood stud. The backing plate contains plenty of places to easily do this, suggesting they realize people will likely need to make some adjustments if mounting conditions aren't ideal. With the additional anchors I supplied, the mount is now rock solid and secure. The two big bolts in the studs probably would have held without the extra anchors I supplied, but this isn't the kind of application where "probably" is really good enough. I wanted to KNOW the thing was never coming off the wall, and, in my well-seasoned judgment, that level of confidence required some additional, just-in-case, hardware.Anyway, once you get the mount secured on the wall, hanging even my big 85" TV was no problem with 2 people. I particularly liked how they gave you a decent amount of play to easily move the TV left/right and center it in the space once mounted, even if your stud spacing means the mount itself is positioned somewhat off center. That could not be easier to do. The final look is good, with the TV off the wall just slightly. I don't expect to pivot the TV or pull it away from the wall except when connecting things to it, but that seems to work fine, if a bit stiffly. But, at least in my experience, installing this in my house took some moderate skill and extra hardware beyond what was provided. And I think it is irresponsible to show a method of installing this that doesn't require finding a stud in the instructions, when you know this product is going out into the hands of a bunch of DIYers with various levels of skill and experience. People who know what they are doing are never going to put this up without securing it into a stud, that is just absurd. But some idiot is going to follow those instructions to the letter and end up with an installation that is marginal at best, and unsafe at worst. So let me tell you what the instructions don't: install this yourself if you have the skills to do it properly, including finding studs, using a level, understanding how to measure properly and doing the associated math needed to get the TV precisely where you want it. If you doubt your ability to do any of this yourself, then pay to have it done. This is most definitely not a project that you want to learn new skills on.

Great mount for the money
Solidly built TV mount. Easy to install and never failed me. I have bought one for every TV in my house and will only use their mounts. Simple product that does what it is supposed to do.
