Spigen Classic C1 (10th Anniversary Limited Edition) [Retro] Designed for Apple iPhone X Case (2017) - Grape

I got the bondi color, Although I tend to use cases by Apple as they are slim fit and great quality, but I couldn’t resist getting this for my X, got this super fast, great quality by Spigen, gives me nostalgia of the original Mac used in college, love the color and detail, although this case does give bulkiness, I can’t even fit my phone into phone holder in my car so i had to put back the magnetic plate so it can stick on the magnetic holder on air vent, it works but maybe due to its bulkiness it’s not as sticky as the other cases.Despite of the above issues, I still like the case for its look and sturdiness, so I’m ordering the Blueberry color.

I’m pretty picky about my iPhone cases, and I absolutely love this case! Sure, it’s a bit bulkier than the standard Spigen or Apple cases, but style doesn’t come free. I’m instantly transported to 1998 just by looking at this bright slab of bondi blue. It has a solid feel and isn’t showing any scratches after a week of regular use. I get the sense it would protect my iPhone well if it were dropped.

I loved going back to the appearance to one of the most iconic desktop computers and having that protecting one of my newer pieces of technology. The case is a 2 part case as well, meaning it not only had a softer inner case, but the rougher outer shell to protect it as well. All in all, pretty ingenious, even if it allows for dust build-up between the layers. The sad part in this review is the outer shell is brittle around the power and volume buttons, meaning that for all of the great aesthetics my case's power button has broken in less than 6 months of use. For the price, I would've expected a better durability.

I love this case!! The Bondi Blue is spot on, and it feels like a solid, sturdy case. The volume and power buttons all click like normal, and while the case makes the phone thicker (noticeably), the rounded shape makes that unnoticeable. It fits perfectly in the hand, and as my 5th iPhone X case, this is the only one I’ll ever need again!

**UPDATE!** 8-1-18I initially reviewed this case and was in love with its design. I still think this case is amazing (design wise) as far as the look of the case is concerned. It really does capture the look of a iMac G3 but unfortunately I felt like it also weighed as much as a iMac G3 upon carrying in my pocket for a few days. It really adds a lot of extra weight to the iPhone X and makes your phone feel bulky. I guess if you like a bulkier case this won’t bother you. It unfortunately bothered me so I am deducting a star and have returned the case.I love this case! It provides protection but also cool factor. The nostalgia of the old iMac G3 combined in beautifully designed case by Spigen. It’s notably on the costlier side ($40) but if you love all things apple and love nostalgia then look no further than this case. Hello again, indeed!

This is a really nice phone case that is more creative and fun to have than other utilitarian cases I've owned previously. The volume and power buttons are kinda hard to push when you first use the case but after a while, they loosen up and I no longer felt like I needed to push hard on them. I would recommend this phone case to a friend.

The only good thing about this case is the compliments you’ll get. All of the buttons fell off, the lock button, as well as both volume buttons. This makes it really hard to press the buttons. The case is cracking on all of the corners and just now a piece of the plastic on the top right corner came off. It protects the phone I guess but overall an awful case it just looks cool.

I love this case!! It's a very premium feeling case and fits very well. Feels good in hand and the protection element feels on point. Good looking and unique case. It gets 2 thumbs up from me!!
