Looks Good, Bit Tight
For reference, I am a 26 year old female who weights about 118 lbs, 5’2, waist: 27, hip: 34. I purchased a size 2 regular in the gray and black.I work in for a law enforcement agency and I’ve been looking for pants that 1. Fit me 2. Looked professional 3. Durable 4. Reasonably priced. These pants hit two and three on the nail, they really look good and are noticeable tough. I spilt some soda on me and with one wipe it was completely gone, it was like the spill didn’t even happen. As for the fit, it is somewhat tight in the groin and the thigh area and long for my 5’2 height. I’ve encountered these problems before with my body type and pants. The tightness isn’t too bad, I still feel reasonably comfortable while sitting or moving. The price is a bit all over the place. Orginially I wanted three separate colours to own so I could alternate during the week. The gray and black were purchased at $29.99 - excellent price. All the other colours were at $74.00. This seems like a large variation and not very reliable if I needed to purchase these pants later on.Overall, I am content with my purchase. I’ll need to hem the bottom and hopefully over time the tightness in the thigh and groin will fit more comfortably, especially while sitting. Hopefully the price is maintained in case I need to purchase another pair. I would recommend these pants if you’re working in an active career field.

Comfortable tac pants!
I recently purchased the 5.11 Stryke pants in size 6R. Those fit perfect. I also purchased the Terra Twill shorts in a size 4 because those were tight in size 6. From reading reviews, I decided to order the Cirrus pants in a size 8R. They are a little looser than the Strykes. I will have to wear a belt but I wear one everyday anyway. I think if I had purchased the 6R they would have been too tight, but that is speculation. I am very happy with these pants. Tactical pants shouldn't be tight anyway especially once you fill up the pockets. They are extremely comfortable. I like the material. They really can double as business casual pants as some others have stated. Stryke pants are going for about $75 so I only want to wear those pants when I'm at the range (indoor or outdoor) or doing specific activities. The cost of the Cirrus pants are half the price so even though they have about half the amount of pockets I would rather wear these for more leisurely activities like hiking. In addition, I am 5'4", average build with some muscle but not ripped. And not curvy at all! The regular length would drag on the ground if I were just wearing flat athletic shoes but I wear them with boots so it is not a problem. In summary, I really like the 5.11 brand for comfortable and functional women's tactical pants. However, as with most womens clothes, sizing is a mystery even within the same brand. As I stated earlier, I have 3 of their pants in all different sizes. If you're lucky like me and have a 5.11 in your town definitely go try them on. If not make sure you order them from somewhere with free returns.I hope this helps. Cheers!

Sturdy and useful, but still with some key limitations.
As pants go, these are pretty good. I had hoped for more, but I suppose the perfect pant is still out there somewhere.Pros: The pockets are great, very deep and usable. Actually the top front pockets could be a little longer (the stuff in them has the potential to get pinched in the hip crease when you squat) but I just use the magazine pockets, so it's not like I don't have options. The gusset is also great, although I think a traditional diamond gusset would allow more range of motion, this one at least allows a better standing stance for the wide-of-hip. Extremely sturdy and I love the fabric-- it simply will not absorb water. They get dirty (with effort) but they hold up and look professional. All the extra reinforcement is great as well, but the looseness of the button (it's attached with a ribbon) threw me for a loop. I could wish for a little more tightness in the waistband, but better this way than the opposite!Cons: They bind. Running, climbing, or any kind of a scramble is an effort, particularly if your thighs are on the larger side. I honestly don't know how you would fix this-- adding stretch would probably ruin the ruggedness of the waistband and pockets. I had hoped to use these for hiking, but I'm just going to use them for work. I cursed their sturdiness on a short hike this weekend, they were nearly as bad as denim for constriction during a steep climb.Bottom line: Sturdy and useful, but still with some key limitations.

A little big and not enough pockets
So, I have the Stryker pant and LOVE them! This is the same quality and feel and do not feel any thinner. However, reviews suggested to size up. I wear a size 4 in the 511 Stryker and thought I better order a size 6 in this pant. I should have stuck with the size 4 as these were a bit baggy and loose in the waist and hip area. I am about 125lbs, 5'6 with torso a bit longer than leg length. The regular was a perfect length for those of us long torso folk. For the price, these are a nice pair of pants that seem to be strong and stain resistant. But, for those qualities, I will order another pair of the Stryker pants as they fit better and have more pockets. My intended uses are hiking and camping. The cargo pockets on the Stryker are not at all bulky and the pockets are deeper and more secure in my opinion.

Good quality, runs small
Ordered a 4 and I usually wear size 2 in other brands. waist 27”, hips 34”, weight 120. 4 fits well, snug in the waistband, a little extra room in seat and thighs.Pants are good, look nice and wash and wear well. For the price (35/pair) quality is good. If I could change these pants I would fix the waistband, which tends to gap in the back when you do anything other than stand still, have a longer rise/crotch area. An extra inch would go a long way. And the front main pockets are unnecessarily shallow. My 5.11 Stryke pants I can put my whole hand into the pocket, store a cell phone, car keys, chapstick, wallet, etc. these are only about 2” deep. For 50% of the price, these are roughly 50% as good as Stryke pants. I still like them and wish they had more colors to supplement my BDU wardrobe.

Yes
Absolutely fantabulous pants. Where to start? The pockets! The sheer joy of having that many pockets as a women is something rare. First used them as uniform while caring for 20 dogs on an island in northern Canada. They held up great, super waterproof and breathable. And so stain resistant!!! But they are also dressy/flattering enough to get away with as a regular in my office mix.
