Faulty
The media could not be loaded. I have a lot of Chafon products and felt confident in trying another. However, this battery is a dud. It came 66% charged and the first things I tested were the lights. Both of the ones on this unit will randomly come on after pressing the power button. You have to press several times before they connect. No big deal as I never use the lights on the batteries I have anyway. I mainly got this battery for DC use. Unfortunately, that port/power combo has a fault as well. I included a video to show that when you turn on the power and then plug something in the DC port, the power shuts off. If you press the power button afterward, the power indicator just flashes on and off. If you keep pressing for 6 or 7 times it will sometimes connect, but again, randomly. And yes, the products I tested were well under 100W. Also, the listed advert says that the battery capacity is 36000mAh, but the manual says it's only 12000mAh.I did not even try the usb ports because I wasn't going to risk my phone or tablet in a faulty system.Updated star rating and to add that support did contact me quickly to assess the battery issues. See their comment on the review as to the battery capacity. Their tech explanation was that the starting power on my devices was over 100 watts. However that doesn’t explain why the lights didn’t work properly. I returned the unit to Amazon. Support does try and they stay on top of things, but sometimes units just don’t work as they should.

Portable Power - Solar Addon
╔ ■ Price Point: 4.5/5╠ ■ Quality: 5/5╠ ■ Recommendation: 5/5╠ ☼ Overall: 5/5╠ ►Product Need: Emergency power backup, portable power, festivals, backyard╠ ►Product Pros: Compact, 3 hour safety, LED, 3 USB ports and AC plug╠ ►Cons to Consider: No solar panel, small devices only╠ ►My Review: I didn’t want to fully invest in a large oversized generator for emergencies. When I came across this, I thought it would be great to have for those power outages and will make great portable power for camping and festivals. You should know it has the ability to be charged via solar, but does not have the capability out of the box. I tend to save the power for lower end appliances as the battery will go a lot faster the more you plug in and draw from it. It has 3 USB ports and plug that gives me at least 3 hours of uptime from the USBs being used. The light on it is also very handy since this is always used at nighttime. At 3 pounds and 6x6” it is portable and easy to bring with on trips. The only thing I would really change is the description on the uses for this since the solar controller is extra and not sure how important CPAP is. But I would recommend this for portable low power uses like I do for safety, backyard power and when traveling

Pretty solid
I bought this small 100 watt battery generator for basic needs. Phone charging, ipad charging, have not used it with my laptop yet, or my modem. Plugged in an arctic air, the newer model and it ran for about 12 hours, with about 7 hours on medium and 5 on low, battery went from 100% to 27%. Charged in about 5 hours in an outlet. I have a 40 watt solar panel for this as well in case of power outage. This did not really work with my 43 inch Sharp Roku tv. It came on but drained fast. Same deal with my Coleman 40-quart powerchill cooler. I do plan on purchasing a bigger one, or I may end up going the battery/ inverter/ solar panel route. But, as for this one, I do recommend it for small basic needs. It's a nice little device to have!

Strong Battery
Ill start off by saying i have 2 of Chafons larger batteries that have performed flawlessly so i had high expectations for this battery. The battery has 3 usb ports, one having quick charge tech. (Tested, works.) The AC outlet was able to power my cooper cooler and a large fan easily. One thing i noticed that I consider to be an upgrade vs their other battery lineup is the battery percentage gains/drops 1% at a time instead of 5 or 6 at a time. This is usefull for more accurate power tracking. The outer shell is composed of a hard durable plastic that could definitely take a fall or two. One thing that always gets my attention as a consumer of electronics is packaging. The packaging is catchy on the outside with a color box and a tidy information panel. The box itself is pretty durable as well to prevent accidents during shipping. Compared to other batteries in the same class, you are getting a very good product for a very good price with a company that stands behind its product.

Fantastic portable power. Very happy.
The Chafon Portable Solar Generator is the portable power I was looking for! It’s absolutely perfect for the day trips when we’re away from power. Now my family doesn’t have to fight over who gets to charge their phone or iPad – this can do three at once! This charges as they advertise. Charged our iPads and iPhones quickly. The unit itself charged in the time they said.I love the convenience and also the extra features that were a pleasant surprise. I love the different lights on the unit. There’s the bright flashlight, but there’s also the light bar on the side that is perfect for a constant light in a small area. The size and weight of this unit is perfect. Easy to grab and go and my kids don’t complain about the weight. Some other units of this quality are way too heavy.I highly recommend this portable power! My family loves it!

Good value, but get an international adapter!
This is a very handy way to have portable power for a variety of applications. The outlet is the international variety so it will require you to have an adapter if you are using it with US style plugs. That is probably the only thing that would be nice to have different. The built in light comes in very handy.

It would be nice if merchants would include the instructions and/or users manuals ...
After reviewing other reviews I purchased it to use with a cpap while camping. The printed instructions say not to use with medical devices or electric motors. It is a modified sine battery and those devices need pure sine to prevent damage. I won't take the chance of damage but for another $100 dollars I found a cord/inverter by the cpap manufacturer that makes the 12 volt feed safe for my cpap. It would be nice if merchants would include the instructions and/or users manuals in their sales literature or apps.
