I put these as a high value for your money because I bought them when they were on SALE! I would Not buy them if they were regular priced!!! They are cute and the idea is fun, I can see why kids love them. From an adult perspective they are over priced and messy and I step on them more than anything, they end up in a miscellanies bin.

This is the cheapest place to find this already cheap toy. Our kids love it and we use it as a way to reward them for good deeds. They love opening it like a present, collecting, and playing with them. If you are looking for a gift for a young kid they will love it more than just about anything. Don't get me wrong the fun last maybe a day or so per egg, but so do most toys. The good thing is that you don't feel as bad when they never play with them again.

Perfect gift, my daughter had tons of fun breaking the eggs open. Each one was cute and she was very happy so I’m happy. They are small but with 12 of them in each pack, it was well worth it.

Great deal! I bought it while it was on sale and even though we haven’t opened it yet we have had these before and they are so cute! My daughter loves them. I’m saving these for Easter and can’t wait to surprise her with them. They are a perfect Easter gift!

For some reason, my daughters love these things! They’re 4-years-old and they need help getting them started (you press above the Purple Heart and they start to crack open). Then they can get the little animals out on their own. Make sure that you have your child open these over a bowl or something, because just like real eggs, you’ll have pieces of “shell” to deal with, but it’s not bad. As an adult, my thing is that they’re really tiny, can get lost easily and what do you really do with them? They have no moving limbs, but are sparkly and cute. All that really matters is that my kids like them and therefore they get a positive review. I do like that they come in a cute egg carton for storage which is better than when you get the smaller packs and there’s nothing to put them in. There was also a good variety of animals and there were no duplicates in the carton.

I'm very picky with the toys I let my kids buy. Especially with the cost of things now. I was very satisfied with this item because of the quality. The product itself is fun, and just adorable. I don't think any kid I know would not enjoy this. My kids normally toss their toys to the side, but this they've enjoyed every moment since we purchased them. Hatchimal eggs are awesome. Even I liked opening the eggs to see which cutie was inside.

My daughter is too young to be a part of the Hatchimals craze, thank goodness. My husband, however, wanted to get her a Hatchimals for Christmas but we decided she would prefer Rex from Toy Story since that is something she is into. Instead I found these and thought they would make a good stocking stuffer. They ended up being one of my daughter's favorite gifts this Christmas. There was some frustration getting them "hatched", again she's younger so she just wanted a toy. I think what is great about this set is the egg carton case to keep all the animals in. She enjoys playing with them with her other Disney figurines and puts them away carefully in their case when done.

My kids shared these and they loved opening them up. It is such a creative toy and is so entertaining for them. I like that you can put them back in there for storage as well.
