Karaoke USA GF840 Portable System, Black with Disney Karaoke Series Moana

The media could not be loaded.  It’s been a year now since I got this karaoke machine, so I feel like it is time to give my personal review on this thing. I’m not really good with words but I’ll try to be precise and honest.My husband bought this for me last Christmas. Pretty little box of awesomeness. It’s one of the best things that my husband had gifted me and i just love it so much! I love that it is light, I can carry it everywhere. I love that there are several options to play karaoke but most of all, i love love love that it’s bluetooth able since I get all my karaoke music from youtube. I just connect either my laptop, ipad or phone and voila! I can sing to my heart’ content! Although i just had a slight problem about the bluetooth connection at first because you can’t connect more than one devices. So you just gotta have to turn off or disable the bluetooth of the other device that you connected it to so you can connect another one. But since I figured it out long ago, I am good to go. The microphones are amazing too! I love the little echo or reverb going on when I sing, it makes me feel like a real singer. LOL! But if you don’t want the echos you can turn that down instead. The speaker is really great as well, it’s kind of on par with my Bose® SoundLink Color Wireless Bluetooth Speaker II when it comes to the clarity and wholesomeness of the sound.So overall, Karaoke USA GF840 Portable System is a great machine to have (if you’re a karaoke lover) I have no complaints about it. So I strongly recommend this item.

Karaoke USA's knowledge of the users needs, while staying focused on quality, function, ease of use, device compatibility, sound quality, quality attachments speaks volumes about their Karaoke machines. This model is best for the intermediate user and the model users can grow into as it enables you to use both a thumb drive and a SD card for recording yourself, friends and/or family. It's easily portable enabling you to bring the party with you. LCD screen is very easy to read and all function buttons are located properly. Very good value for the vocal artist in your family to take their gift to the next level.

So far, so good. After investigating many reviews from other purchasers of this particular machine, citing some problems with microphone jacks not working, CD functions not working, or working sporadically as well as other negative reviews, I decided to buy it anyway and keep my fingers crossed that I got a unit that worked. I did but a new unit and not a used one. So far, so good. It does what I wanted, especially being able to program CD +G discs via a remote instead of my old machine which didn't have a remote and Karaoke discs had to be programmed via manual controls. Citing some past bad reviews of this unit, it appears that if more quality control and testing would be given before this unit is released from the factory, there would be more positive reviews and less negative ones. Sound quality is good. I use an additional TV with a large screen and connected it to the audio and video output jacks furnished with the Karaoke unit and everything worked well. The machine and TV worked in harmony with no problems with the words and music being displayed together on both the Karaoke screen and the TV screen. I'm hoping I didn't jinx the machine by this positive review. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I've played around with a lot of Karaoke machines in bars, but never a home use system. This little system is amazing. Bought this for my young daughters for Christmas who love singing and are actually pretty good. It looks pretty complex at 1st, but once you figure it out, its actually really easy. My 7 year old daughter can work it just fine on her own. Not a big fan of the CD with the 300 songs on it, but they aren't bad. There are better Karaoke CDs that you could get for it. I bought 2 Disney Karaoke CDs for my girls and they work great on this machine. Having 2 microphones is great, the built in speaker is amazing, so crisp and clear. We haven't tried plugging it up to a big screen TV yet, but the built in monitor is very crisp and clear as well. Would definitely recommend this to others. Again, I can't compare it to other home systems, as I've never had one, but I do like it better than many of the systems I have seen and used at bars.

I got this as a gift, though it was on my Wishlist so I did pick it out. The machine is fine for parties or for your kids, or just playing around. It has good loud sound and can play a variety of media. It comes with many old folk or standard songs .The recording feature sucks. You have to turn the balance down to one side, and then you have sing loudly into the mic, and only at the top. Even still, your voice will sometimes be too quiet or too loud, and it will go in and out. I've had machines like this. They're not good for recording. If you want to record yourself singing, you're better off getting a more expensive machine, like the pros use, or getting software for your computer or an app for your phone. I recommend singsnap.com or SMULE.

I was hesitant to purchase this karaoke machine as the reviews were mixed; however, there were not many alternatives on Amazon and time was of the essence. So I ordered it, with fingers crossed. I purchased a ton of CD's to go along with the karaoke; however, my brother-in-law showed me how easy it was to use the USB port AND the bluetooth function. My family -- young, old and in between - had a blast with this karaoke machine. The sound was great; the microphones worked well and the screen was very clear. It was requested the next night too. So if you're on the fence about this purchase, give it a try and hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as we did!

You can connect phone and play music from youtube or anye other program.sound is clean and strong. But when you play from youtube karaoke you have to look on screen of devi e you play songs. But very very good product also u get remote. I buy that for my kids but hehe i sing more then them hehhe. Kids are very happy. Quality is super, after all product is rockn roll crazy realy worth every cent.

Excellent had great fun at Christmas, good volume and tone great for party's

This kareoke machine is good quality, worth paying more for. The only thing I am disappointed with it that it doesn't have disco lights. My friend has an older version of this machine and hers has lights and they look fantastic. Apart from that this machine is brilliant with great sound.

I am very pleased with this karaoke machine, light weight, brilliant sound, I highly recommend it.

This is fab but I would like to get wireless microphones for this as feels a bit restricted unsure which ones are compatible?
