Fantastic
I'm no expert but I did some research before deciding to purchase this model. Absolutely not disappointed at all. To me the image looks crisp, clear, bright, and easily worth what these cost to buy. So small and light you can slip them into your pocket and hardly notice them at all - yet there they are if you should want to use them. Considering the size of these the field of view really seems quite decent and doesn't feel like a compromise. Only thing is I'm not able to use them with my glasses on -but that's not a problem.

Great little binoculars
Love these little binos as the image is very colourful and sharp thanks to the ED glass. It's also very lightweight so it was easy to carry around all day hanging from my neck. The only downside is that the eyepiece caps don't have a hook to attach them to the strap, but I solved it with a little string.

Surprisingly good
Very compact yet very much usable in daylight. The ED glass does make a difference - creating a very sharp and also surprisingly clear for its 25mm objective lenses image. The build - while feeling just a bit crude is very solid. The lens caps for the front lenses are nice and useful if you plan to use it in rough conditions. One thing you can consider is using a smaller strap with this binocular - the one that comes with it when folded is fit for a full-sized bin and takes additional space. Given the price, I must say it has exceeded my expectations.

Detached lense caps go missing
The binoculars are fineHowever the lens caps are cumbersome and I lost them on a number of accessions as they are looseIf your careful and always got your wits about you they are fine.

Best compact binoculars I have ever used
These binoculars are outstanding in clarity and brightness. The close focus capability is such a bonus when out and about. The fact that you can put them in a pocket or carry them in the palm of your hand means they are there when you need them without being cumbersome, I use these all the time and I am so glad that I bought them.

Brilliant make
Really nice pair of bins. Nicely made. Remember that with high magnification and small object lens the field of view is restricted, but you can't have everything. 10 x 25 is probably best when in a 'hide' looking at distant birds, (not good for following birds in flight or moving objects). Or for looking a boats etc out on the sea or a distant landscape.

Faulty. Cannot focus.
This is a faulty product and already returned. The focusing of the two barrels was out of sync and the binocular could never focus properly. If this fault didn't exist, then the only two things I would criticise are, 1) the image was a little curved e.g. the line of roof top from distance appeared curved rather than a straight line, also 2) the image sharpness decreases when the target is away from the centre of the view. Hawke has put effort on deploying ED glass and phase correction, making the product looks robust and comes with a high quality padded lanyard, If these two points could also be improved then it will certainly be one of the best in the market - at this price range.By the way the binocular comes with rain guard and stay on lens caps, which is a little surprise as these extra, handy accessories are not usually seen in compact binoculars. Even rarer is there is a little draw string pouch included, although I would never use it to store a binocular, it has many other good uses e.g. to store a computer mouse.Looking at the good reviews from many other customers here, I believe I was just being unlucky this time. I have several pairs of binoculars and this is the first time I bought binocular from Amazon. Perhaps I should continue shopping with reputable optics dealers where they usually perform quality checks on the binoculars before dispatching them.
