Pricey but very comfortable from Amsterdam to Budapest, they soak up water on damp days so treat them with an oil repellant.

I bought the brown pair with the red lined sole.I really love walking in these shoes. They are my third pair of Rockports.They are very light but offer great support and offer me, with slightly wider feet, a little more width.I didn't like the laces so i changed them for a thicker blue pair. They do look like they are for an older person, I'm not an older person and my wife did comment on them, I don't care, I walk a lot and need comfortable and supportive shoes.Pros:LightweightSuper ComfortableSlightly wider than normal (only slightly)Breathable and coolCons:I didn't like the lacesThey look like an old mans shoe somewhat.Color is slightly different from the picture.My truest test for an item is; Would I buy it again at a higher price. I own several pairs of Rockport shoes and find them to be well made. I do not find that the arch support is sufficient for my feet and replace their insoles with my own insoles. Each style of Rockport shoes is different in their structure which often requires me to use a different type of insole for each style of shoe. I like the look and feel of the RocSports Lite ES T-Toe Walking shoe, but I have yet to find an insole that works for me with this style. I can only wear the shoes for a few hours. I haven't given up and hope to find something that works, soon, so that I can wear them longer. For someone without an arch support issue, these should be fine shoes.

I needed footwear while delivering for FedEx that was lighter than my work boots (also Rockport). These are darned near perfect. Extremely comfortable out of the box, very good fit and the sole and other materials appear to be quite well made and durable. I always dismissed Rockports because so many of their models are just plain ugly. But there are many that are stylish and look normal. Rockport may be my new go-to shoe.

I like this brand and specific design because it's discretely 'sporty' without being gaudy or marred with surface, superficial decorations and doo-dads. I worried, initially, when I first tried on the shoes because they were -- initially -- very stiff and I had to work to get my feet into the shoes. But, once on, the shoes were comfortable and fit without pinching or rubbing. They are comfortable for walking and should get more comfortable once they are fully 'broken in.'I also like the choice of upper leather colors -- again, discrete while being stylish.I would readily buy this brand and specific design again. In fact, I have considered buying a second pair in a different shade of brown -- but did not because I don't really NEED more shoes.

Initially when I hear Rockport's, I associate with older types. I'm not that old and these shoes are very stylish. I don't want to wear, what other people are wearing, so this works great. Fit is as expected, as well as width, I wear narrow. To provide better arch support, I have added dr schols for padding. I wear these shoes in favor, compared to my Skechers. Colors online is the same in real life.

Not battled tested yet - I have only worn them twice. But they seem as advertised and expected. I opted for the 2Ewide, which seem about right. The color is not as "rich" as the picture, and have a slight 'ash' like quality - but okay. One star deduct for that. it will be interesting to see how these shoe stand up to light moisture, or even oil-based shoe polish. The latter might make them better, make leather more supple.

I was looking for a walking shoe that would look more like a casual shoe than a sneaker. This one appeared to be the best solution and so I ordered a pair. I was pleasantly surprised when I received them and put them on. They were very comfortable and easy to walk in, didn't need breaking in as other "shoes" have. Would recommend them to someone looking for something more than the standard sneaker look.

This shoe was exactly what I was looking for. Something stylish, and yet comfortable, that I could get away with in Europe and not look like an American tourist. Incredibly, incredibly comfortable. Went hiking in Greece with these!
