Easy to install and use Door/Window Sensor
Personal Experience:During the summer my kids kept leaving the storm door open so I needed something that would let me know if it was open. I purchased this sensor and paired it with my SmartThings hub and I have been very pleased. The sensor does a great job of signalling when a door is open or closed. Linking to the hub was extremely easy (less than a minute) and lets me set alerts if the door was open for longer than 15 minutes so that is a big plus. The sensor is between my storm door and front door so that area can get pretty hot during the summer and cold in the winter, but it works very well in both temperature extremes. I've had this for months and the battery says 99% so I'm not concerned about the battery life, it should last for a few years at the current rate.Pros:Easy to installSenses Open and Close very wellSyncs to my SmartThings HubWorks in both Hot and Cold ExtremesBattery has gone down 1% in 2 monthsCons:None I have seen so far

Easy to install and pair natively with smartthings
I currently own 2 movement sensors of this brand and they work perfectly, they have native support in smartthings, the pairing is very easy and fast, so I decided to give the sensors a chance to open and close, and I was not disappointed. , they work perfectly, they are more bulky than the others, but that is due to the AAA batteries, which is not an impediment but an advantage against the most expensive CR batteries, maybe it does not have a temperature sensor, but who wants a temperature sensor in a door sensor, for the price has been one of my best investments, comes with a couple of batteries AMAZON brand, so I'm sure to be good, not like others who have Chinese batteries that they do not last long

Works great with my Aeotec Z-Wave Gen5
Surprisingly easy to add this to my Home Assistant system running on a Raspberry Pi with the Open Z-Wave integration. Too new to comment on battery life. But, glad that Home Assistant gets the battery life data so I'll know when it's time to replace the battery.

Works Well with Smarthings Hub 2.0
I originally had a Visonic MCT-340 sensor in my workshop as used it mostly for intrusion alerts or to know if the door was open. That sensor worked, most of the time, even though the reporting amount of battery life was all over the place, and never really trusted it. After two years, it was getting to where it was losing the connection often and just decided to replace it. I bought this one and so far, have been satisfied with it. It is larger, with the AAA batteries, but that's OK as should last a lot longer than the button batteries in the Visonic MCT-340, which was about every 9 months. While the Visonic MCT-340 did have a thermometer, and this one does not, it was not something I really needed and wonder if that contributed to the shorter battery life. Since it's in a workshop, the larger size is not a concern for me, although could see in some places, might not want a larger unit. My work shop does get down below freezing sometimes in the middle of the winter, and if you are installing it in a location that does, I suggest you install lithium AAA batteries as they are not going to freeze like a an alkaline battery will. The range is good too, as it has to go through two exterior walls to connect to the Smarthings (V2.0) hub, and it's about 35 foot aaway I plan on buying 1-2 more soon. I uploaded a couple of pictures that show the size compared to the Visonic MCT-340 if considering the same replacement.

Sensor works great with SmartThings hub after updating device handler.
Very fast pairing to the hub. In the beginning, the sensor reported false sense status after being open for several hours. Contacted the seller and received detailed instructions on how to update the device handler. After the update, it has been working perfectly. After nearly two weeks, battery status still show 100%.I highly recommend this product because it’s among the few that use AAA batteries, which are easy to find or recharge, works like it should, and most importantly, the seller stands behind the product and provides full support.

Works great with Smart Things hub
I have a rental condo in the Caribbean that I use a smart things hub to turn off the AC when the doors are open. I used the smart things zigbee door sensors and was having to use a repeater and was frustrated to have to replace batteries in the sensors every few months. I just installed these and they paired easily and did not require the repeater. I am anxious to see if the batteries last at least a year as advertised. So far so good.

DO NOT BUY for Smartthings
These sensors have a bug if you are using smartthings, if you leave them open for 10-12 hours they suddenly show up as closed in the app even if they in an open position which makes them completely useless (they seem to reset if you actually close and reopen them again)I have been in touch with BeSense, they were really responsive at the beginning and they told me they could reproduce the bug in their lab, but so far it doesn't look like it's something they can fix with a firmware update. They are sending me a replacement unit to see if that fixes it, if that works I will update the review to a 5 stars, everything else seems great, battery life is still 100% after a month and they are pretty far away from the hub

Not quite accurate reporting
It took me some time for the sensor to be recognized by my Vera controller. But it was expected. Functional, but not very reliable. If you move the window up and down fast, notifications will not be sent. Sometimes it is reporting the window being closed , when indeed I was opening it. Sometimes it just skips notifications period. For the price - must be more reliable options on the market. After several days of use, updating my review. It is a total junk. Would report it was tempered with nobody even close to the window. And no sunlight shining directly. If I only could remove it from adhesive tape, would have shipped it back. Please find an alternative. I personally have another installed years ago manufactured by a different company, and still working flawlessly.
