Great container, but be careful if dishwashing
This is a very handy storage container for homemade ice cream, and makes scooping balls of gelato a breeze. The only (minor) flaw is that disassembling it and putting it in the dishwasher seems to distort the shape slightly, making the lid difficult, though not impossible, to snap shut.

Not solid. Cracked the first time I used it
Used it and put it in the freezer (with ice cream in it obviously). As soon as I had taken it out the freezer I noticed it had cracked on the first use. Tried to whack the ice cream with a scoop to get it out (I'm impatient) and the bit that cracked started to splinter and I think I got hit by bits of plastic which had cracked off. I know I'm impatient but I think the plastic cracking off would have happened eventually had I used it more than once

Perfect for busy freezers
Being new to ice cream making and gelato, I bought this for storage as i broke a vacuum canister in the freezer. Its perfect! a great size and shape for around 1L of ice cream. you get nice long curls and because its not very wide you can fit it into a busy freezer....now i just need to buy more of them

LOVE these tubs!
Well built and they store nicely in the freezer. The channel makes easy serving and best of all, the tub does not slide around. If there was one improvement it would be to have them a tad larger as my go to ice cream recipes makes slightly more than this tub can hold. However, it didn't deter me from purchasing another tub to have 2 different flavours on the go at once.

Right tool for the job!
I make ice cream, a lot. This is the perfect shape and size for me. Also the ice cream doesn't seem to go rock hard as it does in ordinary containers - must be the double wall that does it. Like it so much I bought a second one!

Your ice cream deserves these containers!
Now I understand why the reviews were so glowing. Yes the price and availability is a challenge, but it's really worth sticking with it, there simply is no better container. If you've spent a good amount of money on an ice cream maker, and time on using it, you owe it to yourself to get these.

Love it
Love this product! Worked so well with my homemade rippled icecream! Fits perfectly in my freezer drawer. Only thing is that it can’t go in the dishwasher - but that’s fine given how fabulous it is!
