3M Protecta PRO Construction Harness, Back and Side D-Rings, 420 lb. Capacity, Small, 1191208

This harness was purchased in size small, to replace a more expensive and much heavier fall protection harness. It was very adjustable, fit 100-pound female with room to make smaller, and 180-pound male with room to adjust larger. This item was significantly lighter weight than many other models of vests. Not as padded as the $400+ harness, basically just the shoulders are padded, but definitely more comfortable than the item it is replacing. Includes back and side O-rings. It isn't used every day so I can't comment on long-term durability, but appears to be well-made. Highly recommend this item for workers needing standard full body harness that is light-weight and padded, yet fully OSHA compliant. This item arrived on time, in excellent condition.

For refernce, i got a small size, im 5' 6” and about 150 lbs, average build. It fits fine now that its summer, I buckle the leg straps at the second or third hole in from the end but in the winter with all the extra layers on I'm going to have to get a medium/large size. I'm an ironworker. I got this harness because my tool belt is pretty encumbering, and instead of wearing suspenders to take the weight off of my hips ON TOP OF my harness I wanted a harness I could incorporate my belt into. This harness does that. I couldn't fit my 3 inch leather belt into it but it comes with one you can take off and put stuff onto it. I was able to get my bull pin holder, connecting bar sleeve, 2 bolt bags and my wrench scabbard on with no problem. Hope this helps.

This harness is the perfect affordable harness for any type of wear. We use it for our guys with our solar company and the front hooks make it a breeze for wear. I’d definitely recommend for its functionality, comfort, and durability. Not to mention the larger company I subcontract for now purchases this specific harness for all of their employees.

I'm not sure how the company is even able to make the harness for this price. It seems very well made and is much safer for tree work than the 20 year old rock climbing harness that I was using. And FWIW, I'm 5'10" and 155 lb and the small size harness has room in both directions.

LOVE this thing! I'm a ham radio operator and I wanted to get into climbing towers. All the guys in my club paid $100's of dollars for their equipment and when they saw what I bought for the money, they were impressed. So much so, that I'm fairly sure I've sold a couple more of these just by default. GREAT harness. Also, being a small woman, I bought the small. Fits perfectly. I'm looking forward to using this thing for many years to come.
